Hey everyone! My name is Matt and I love all things rollercoasters and theme parks, and that is exactly what this channel is all about! I vlog theme park trips, review parks and rides, play planet coaster, and even make coaster memes for the community to enjoy! I hope you all enjoy what I make, thanks for stopping by!
Batman (not the indoor one) deserves a higher spot ... or even a mention in this for Great America. It's deffinitely ranks in my top 4.. I agree on Goliath... I agree raging bull is good... Max Force is good, but waaaay too short to rank in my top 3. Demon is also quite good.
@@freehaven-junprince2376 I did cover batman, it is a cloned ride that I had talked about previously in the video, so for Great America I just referenced it as a Batman clone. It's easy to miss but it's right after I'm talking about the top 3 at the park :)
5:39 I’ve only been to valleyfair, so I don’t know if other impulses do this, but on the last part of the ride, the ride will stop at the top for a few seconds so that the only thing separating you from a giant fall is the shoulder bars!
@@coryluscombe1239 there were 3 of that ride model, (Vekoma Flying Dutchman), I believe Batwing was actually built for SF America and has been there since 2001!
Six flags over GA is my home park. Which honestly im thankful for because of goliath. But the twisted cyclone opinion hurt my soul. Honestly my second favorite ride under goliath. I find that while yes the drop could definitely be longer and the inversions could be a bit more forceful, i find that the ejector are time is amazing. While it is a short ride, the layout packs a punch with imo no filler moments. Everything else is agree with though. Scorcher is definitely a pretty shit coaster. And for me dare decil dive would be so much better if it wasnt for the wait that can reach up to 2 and a half hours every day. I only ride that as my first ride or i wait til way later in the day when its a walk on. Good video though :)
@@XXDawgs I really enjoy SFOG and have gotten some better rides on Cyclone last year! Overall my opinion is it is still pretty mid, but it's #2 behind Goliath for sure
Here's y I gotta say 6 Flags Great America is no 2. The name is the best of all cause of America, it's thee original park and we have the original roller coaster never and it's a good one, Thee American Eagle. The Parks theme is great and we have a Halloween Fright Fest but we also have so many more insane rides other than roller coaster and their death defying. I simply love my 6 Flags and u need to visit !!!
The Batman at 6 Flags Illinois was the original Batman and I think it's too 3! Bro I gotta say this park is numero uno!! The theme is old school, Looney Tunes and that's classic. How about the Giant Drop?? Great video tho.
Can somebody give me the proper meanings of the abbreviations that r used in this video to explain the different varieties of Roller Coaster?? I just don't know em and really want to cause I love 6 Flags Great America and am from Chicago, so I have found memories of this park. Everyone have a Happy 4th today!!!
@@coasterswithmatt The ride types. I just don't know them. Like u have the wooden vs the iron coasters. Cork screws loops? Wuts a inversion, is that even u go upside down? Hand time or air time I guess is wen your coasting upward?? I need help. Thanks..
@@joeychicago6322 an inversion is any time you go upside down! Corkscrews, loops, rolls, all different inversions :) hang time is when you are held upside down long enough to feel like you are falling, and airtime is when you come out of your seat while going over hills or twists right side up. Ride types is complicated because there are a lot, but in general there are rides you sit on the track (sit down), rides you sit under the track (inverts), and rides you sit on the side of the track, (wing). There are others, but those are the basics 👍
Make a video of the all time top ten best roller coaster rides in existence now from all of the Great Americas. This is tough but u can do it!! This would b great and greetings from Chicago...
Thanks for watching! To get in you have to be in a coaster club, and yes, it sells out SO FAST. It was EXTREMELY hard to get in, but I'm so grateful! So worth it.
Rode on it for the 1st time, with a friend whom I met from a SFMM fb community site, and am glad we met up because had I gone solo all day, id never have the courage to finally get on this thing. But I did. Its much Fun, every Thrill seeker Must try it once, and youll ❤️ it. I still have yet to try this at Night or Sunset. I still must do both. So as far as this ride, Im still a Rookie. My only time on this just a few days ago this past Sunday, I got on but the seat I sat in, was far from nearly going upside down. Ive still yet to get that seat. I know sooner or later I will. As far as flat rides, LEX LUTHOR (DOD) is still my Favorite. Ive Always been a Drop Tower guru and junkie. 😜🌴🎢👍🏻
There is an SBF spinning coaster at the Casino Pier, which is right near where I live. I'm going to try to get I-305 Mike to come on it with me when he visits in August.
Six flags is inconsistant. Some of their parks are ran poorly, or maybe some days good some bad. But I am telling you... some of their parks are AMAZING. Maybe you just haven't been to the right one yet!
