On the Coast Guard Facebook page they posted that it was recovered and fuel pumped out.. < src="facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FSectorPugetSound%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02XDcgxrNEoZAXer3kyYEaaW3VjE9Yejwv7dN4h6nmBsBS1SiDFKp97cWSP5WzLwBMl&show_text=true&width=500" width="500" height="538" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share"></>
Hi! Is that ok if I feature this clip in my next video? Fully credited! Also, where did it happen? Many thanks in advance Also how do you want me to express your reactions on the video.
I believe they were in Miami around 1980 with plans to set up regular service to Cuba when that market opened up. Which it never did, so they went to the desert for storage until recently.
@@WilliamCBonner Those weren’t the ones they had re-engined to turbine power. They look like retired USCG airframes, but i’m not an expert by any means. I’m retired USCG and they phased the HU-16’s out as I came in the service so I never got to fly in them.
@@robertfenner9094 I’m ex Coast Guard as well. (84-90) I was a Corpsman. By the time I got to AvTraCen Mobile in ‘90 all of the Goats were gone. I did get some time in the Falcons and H-3’s though Semper Paratus
Hello William C Bonner Can I use your Dashcam videos for my compilations? they get a credit on the screen and link in the description. Many thanks in advance
I’m currently having this issue and it’s driving my family and I crazy. BT continues to take priority over D. In, and goes off in the middle of the night. Can’t find a solution either.
I think I was able to make a change that my soundbar wouldn't wake up by Bluetooth alone. It required using the soundbar remote to change the setting. Now if I want to use Bluetooth, I have to turn on the soundbar and then select Bluetooth as the input..
William C Bonner Thanks, I’ll look into it. There’s a button on my remote that says Bluetooth Power (can be turned on/off), and even when I turn it off, TaoTronics still takes priority. My TV is picking it up too! I walked around my house and my entire neighborhood with a BLE Scanner to see where it’s coming from, but it never showed up. Idk where it’s coming from and it’s driving me mad.
I know this is old but all of a sudden, my J450 started doing this, I’ve tried the “INT” reset, and that was no help. I tried pairing my own devices to see if it would over take the signal, that was no help. I’d love to see a solution to this...
The closest I came to a solution was to configure the sound bar so it couldn't be turned on by Bluetooth. It seems the neighbor that was connecting moved out.
Hi Bill, from watching your video a week ago or so, I had a feeling that is my feeling when I composed - Passion Flow. I've just made a music video and uploaded to RU-vid, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h3D1XemWC6k.html&feature=share . Thank you for allowing me to reuse your beautiful Waving Fields of Grain.
This is beautiful footage! I'd like to talk to you about using it in a film I'm putting together. Can you email me? (I'd message you but I can't find a way to do that on RU-vid for some reason) anna@drumsongmedia.com Thanks!
I'm not positive why it went down. I think it was a battery failsafe that I'd set too high. I had it on a mission and at a certain point I got worried that I wanted to to abort and go home. The Return to Launch function doesn't have it descend until it's over the home location. I took it out of RTL and drove it steeply down, and managed to turn the yaw while I was doing so, taking it across the treeline. If I'd been hooked up with FPV, I would have been able to correct my turn, but recognizing what was going on by line of sight wasn't easy. In the final descent I kept taking it out of RTL and putting it back in RTL but not getting any response. I think the battery failsafe had taken over, or it had too much GPS loss, though the logs didn't report either of those conditions.
I did further research, and it seemed to change where it thought it should be returning to as its launch location. So when I kept taking it out of RTL and putting it back in RTL, it was going where it thought it should. No GPS glitch or loss of communication seemed to be involved, just some bug in the autopilot.
Here's a simple tip on how to maintain orientation by quadcopter movement alone. It's saved my butt and quads many times: Quadcopter Flight Lesson: Distance Flying and Orientation
It's a good tip in general. In the case of this search, we had set the copter down because it was acting strange. All of the copters in this case have GPS autopilots with full hover and return to home features, and the copter we set down and were searching for had started acting strangely when it was near the treeline.
I was one of those two people standing near the edge of the field. I was watching the UAV with binoculars and Darrin was standing next to me asking if I wanted him to attempt to take control of the UAV with the RC transmitter. I kept saying that I wanted to see if it would recover on its own, until way too late. At the point it went over our heads the safe thing was for it to be in the trees instead of coming down on people or vehicles.
