Worked at that eveny since 1997 first show. It was only 2 days for awhile but grew to 5 days of live music. Wed thru Sunday. Stage managed it for the last 20 years of it. Live Nation Killed it in 2018. Sad day for music in the upper Ohio Valley .
My mom got me tickets to this show for my birthday. She passed a few weeks later, and I swear she was there during this song. Wolf and Mammoth absolutely rocked, too!
Great cover! Big Wreck (Ian Thornley really) is extraordinary, and whether they want it or not are deserving of much, much more fame and notoriety than they get.
I saw them mostly in Ohio Valley 40 miles West of Pittsburgh but they played Pit and were even featured in 1988 on a WDVE local music collection release. DVE Pittsburgh Rock n Roll '88 featured the song "I Don't Want To Lose You" and there is a live version of that on here.
I played music with him for about 5 years before he passed. / play some of his songs still. He had one called a Redneck and a hippie should never get married I would love to Be able to find a copy so I could play it
Me, my family and friends were among those he gave his life for. We were on the hill in the field where he downed his plane. Mere feet away. I thought he was coming down to see us. My dad ran to try to save him but there was nothing he could do. The flames were too intense. If his family sees this... Thank you! Thank you for this hero! 🙏
He’s an amazing songwriter with great words that hits home with so many people and was blessed with a vehicle to convey his words with his heart and soul with a heart of gold and a giving person!! RIP you will always be missed by the world……
