I have over 100k views of various unboxing and countless messages from people who have gained lot's of value from these unboxing. Sorry this content didn't meet your expectations. Rather than complain and not offer anything of value, how about a suggestion for some content?
@RISENGRINDWORKSHOP touchy. never received a opinion before ? perhaps read it again. take a breath. someone that watches your video gave an OPINION. YOUR NASTY COMMENT WAS UNCALLED FOR
@@jppalm3944 Truly hope life gets better for you. Strange thing to lash out at strangers on the internet over a free video. Most people just click off the video of move on. You made it a point to put effort into posting negative energy 1st. So don't come at me as a VICTIM when you should have kept scrolling. Thanks for the watch and the comments to boost the algorithm.
I am struggling with the choice of Omtech, xTool p2, or Monport Onyx. There are some refurb units on the Omtech web site. What are your thoughts on the refurb units? What are your thoughts on the other brands?
🍻I need to get the lens dirty first :) looks like you are making some good progress and learning your way around your Mira as well. Keep at it! hit me up if you need anything!
Just got my Longmill 48x30 in and anxious to make a few items to pay for it!! Killer video...I looked at your gear and I can see that the quality throughout your production equipment makes a difference!! David Rodwell Winston Salem, NC
Extremely useful information for finding the accessories for this machine. I received this lathe without any attachments, and trying to figure out what to buy is confusing. Thanks!
It’s total junk, avoid it… I had to return 2 before getting one that sorta works… The way the disk plate mounts can’t ever work right… It’s extraordinarily UNDERPOWERED, it’s no match for any other belt sander I’ve ever used…

@@rickd1946 appreciate you. I’ll be uploading a full unboxing and setup video next week and test card setup and some basic settings to get started as well. Be in the look out.
I did this a few days ago and was a little bit off 0.5%. Close enough that time but to find the exact centre I'll have to be more careful and draw with very fine lines.
Part 3 through 100 would be helpful :) I really like your style. I need all the help I can get. Started with an XTool, and the MF2028 is so different. Lightburn and the laser are intimidating.
We build/flip homes....have for over 20 years. Our job trailers are slammed full with Ryobi tools. Now my PERSONAL tools in my shop/man cave barn are Dewalt/Festool.
Exactly, you are using sub par tools to flip homes as cheap as possible, but reserve your quality tools for your personal work. Another reason to not buy flip properties and I am a licesned Realtor LOL - Ryobi has its place for sure. I use it and Festool.
Thank you for mentioning that they gave you this $1800.00 laser for free...that explains a lot. You used the XCS Software because the S1 is barely compatible with Lightburn.
Interesting comment. People that follow my channel know I’m all about transparency. Most folks buying their first laser don’t have a copy of light burn. The point of this video was an unboxing and overview. In fairness, I have not tested lightburn with this unit as of yet. I will actually be making a video showing how to install and set it up. In due time I’ll find out if your comments hold any value. Appreciate the comment.
Everyone seems to gloss over the focal height. I like the idea of the manual focus block but no one will tell me the ideal focal height for my 600x400 60w Omtech. There's nothing in the manual and the only online reference I have seen is 1.5" to 2.5" which I tried and it gave terrible results as the cutting was wide and undefined.
Your laser came with a factory focal height tool. Next run a “ramp” test. Then download a focal height tool. Ramp test will show you your best focal length. Use the new height tool and measure where the ramp test was best. That’s your optimal focal height to the “surface” of material for raster engraving. 👍🏼
WOW !!! How do you only have 14.3K subscribers... Dude your energy, edits, and clarity on the subject matter is on Point !!!! I am in the market for an 80W omtech and found your video.. WOW ! Great Video Thank you for this... and I'm sorry to tell you this --- But, Your stuck with me Now *** I SUBSCRIBED *** Looking forward to catching up on all your Videos ......
The wifey got me a Ryobi kit for Black Friday 10 years ago or so. Drill, Driver, Sawzall, and a Flashlight. All are still working great. I don’t use them on a job site but I’ve never babied them either.
Ryobi has "excellent" performance for the price you pay for well designed well thought out tool. I've owned my Ryobi 18ga nailer for less than a year and I can't believe how quickly I can take care of little projects around the house. What's great about this tool is that I'm relying on it for more projects. Without thinking about it I'll grab it off the toolbox line up my pieces fire 2 shots and I'm done with it. Sooooo clean, soooo quick, soooo easy. I'm having goose bumps.
I'm a general contractor and would say that Kobalt tools are prosumer grade. Sure Metabo HTP is better for the same money but Kobalt will still get most jobs done.
