I really appreciate you vlogging your target life. I worked at a Target from 2012 to 2014 doing hard lines as well and to this day I miss everyone I worked with, including the team leads and managers. If it wasn’t for the fact that the job back then was 10 an hour, I probably would have been there longer. So seeing you work brings back sooooooo many good memories. Like you, most guests were very nice and those are the ones I have the fondest memories of. And haha, seeing what happened in your review reminds me of how much I hated working in the beauty department and I never touched soft lines because I was no good with clothing. Besides beauty another area that I really did not like stocking was the seasonal section during the back to school time of year with all the small school supplies and Halloween just because of how much that area would get messed up so quickly. Favorite though was the seasonal Christmas section.
Does anyone have any tips for my application to get hired? I applied two days ago and haven’t received a message back. Does anyone know how long it takes the hiring team to message back?
During my first year working at Walmart's produce dept, my coworker and I told a customer we did not have something in stock. She proceeded to tell us both this: "I have a nephew that works for corporate! I'm going to call him!" Then she leaves, while aggressively shaking her head, with her shopping cart. I share this little anecdote in hopes that you know you are not alone when it comes to rude customers (or guests lol). #RETAILWORKERSFTW🔥
so im going to apply at target in specialty sales (style, tech, beauty)...so can you choose out of those three to apply for? or do you have to work in all those three?
NICE Video, I’m doing one as well on being a cart attendant.. I have pov of the cart mover 🛒 and third person shots of getting carts and doing all the extra stuff. Although it’s all from different t days… 😄
You don’t deserve that guest she was so rude and someone like you don’t deserve that because you work your hardest and I hope you have wonderful day ❤❤
Hii! New to this channel, very nice video ~❤ Your style is so pretty! Can I just ask where you got those super cute jeans @5:52 ?! The front pockets are so cute!, thank you!🤗
I've been in that ditch. Especially in the dark cold winter. It's been helping me to stay focused on gratitude for what little I do have in the moment even if it's just the comfort of the simple mattress and pillow under me as I'm typing this.
I feel so safe watching this. I am usually very sad and depressed person, even tho I dont show it on the outside. This makes me feel a little easier. Thank you. Cant wait to watch more of you. I hope you be alright. I am trying to be, too. Life feels so lonely. 🖤
Really looking forward to this "series"/journey. I've been in the same mindset recently, ready for change and realizing I'm capable of making it happen. Let's do it together!! ☺️
I needed this. It’s my first semester under my major (astrophysics) and I am so passionate and happy to be studying space! But man, this semester has been so hard! But you’re right, setbacks are part of life and growth. Thank you for reminding me of that.
wow i loved this video and touches on so many key points i have been thinking about lately in creating the dream life i want for myself. I had this thought the other day that this idea of creating our dream life is so daunting because we grow up with our lives happening to us and one day turn 18 and have to all of a sudden make our lives happen ourselves. we are born with our daily routines, habits, etc set out for us. our parents bring us to school and take us to activities. then we go into adulthood and all of that just stops. it took me years to get off my own butt and kick myself into the mindset of being the only person i can rely on. a huge huge lesson i have been learning is that the key to my happiness is intentionality. i have to start my day intentionally, dream intentionally, do my routines intentionally, because there is no longer a driving force making me do these things as there once was in childhood
For me travelling the world as found me the most amazing people. I travelled to peru this month to do ayahuasia and the people i met brought me tears of joy and comfort. In my home country England i wouldn't of met these types of people.
The editing in this is so good! I love how you told the start of your plan in the form of cookies 😖 I found out I have ADHD a couple months ago and I’m still trying to get my life together. Thank you for sharing 💗
I feel like i got guided to click on this video even do i never watched your video before. Great message. Great video overall. I see all the effort you put into making this video, and i truly believe that your dreams will come true. World needs more people like you. i love you!!! <3
I feel you, but the ones I do have I met by pushing myself outside of my introverted comfort zone by joining rec league sports or starting conversations with people that seemed fun when I would be out. But in doing that I never changed who I was at my core. We just gotta keep trying
@missaniebananie6473 I joined ice skating lessons before, way outta my comfort zone but it was great! I actually did get along with the other people there, but we only hung out once or twice outside the classes and then didn't keep in touch after the classes ended. 😅 Maybe I'll try that again though, I'm current a stay at home mom so that does seem like the best way for me to meet people currently!
Honestly I was so lonely for so long, I feel you 🥺 I met most of my friends through work and then I met a couple through my local community theatre. Honestly joining activities is one of the best ways to make friends as an adult. It can be scary at first, but it's so worth it!! And something that really stuck with me is "if you want good friends, be a good friend." For example, before I would get upset and hurt if my friends wouldn't reach out to me. Now, if I'm missing a friend, I'll reach out to them first to make plans. Sometimes it takes that extra effort on your part to keep in touch!
I relate so much to this video! Its a never ending cycle of doing the same thing every day, feeling like ir wasting all the time you have. Ive been trying to see everything in a more positive light now.
I literally feel this whole video 😭 it’s been my mood this entire year like my dream life has been on hold because of responsibilities toppling over like crazy. But it’s like they always say, only you can control what happens and no one’s stopping you from living your dream life but you. This video was so beautiful Paxton, and best of luck on your journey and new life! You’re deadass on the right path so keep going girl 👏🏽😂 (And those dream cookies looked amazing)
I watched your entire week at target. Sorry about the rude customers I’ve done customer service for ten years over the phone!!!!! Now let’s see if I can put those skills to work in person!! I’m super nervous but can’t wait to get started on my new chapter. I loved how serene your entire video was . It’s like it took me away from my stresses for a minute so thank you very much for sharing.
