Had to take one to protect the fam and dogs. Was gonna just keep the rattler but figured I’d skin it and possibly eat it? Great videos thanks for sharing your knowledge
Here in Arkansas, I get black snakes or rat snakes to some people whenever one gets too close to my chickens or rabbits. I found out that boiling them (after cleaning them first) will loosen the fibers and tenderize them. After boiling, I just season and grill. Your video was very informative. PLEASE include a follow up video on the deboning process.
Thank you for taking the time to put on this podcast. I am not a chief but have helped with fund risers with church and service groups. Were we served 300 to 500 people. Lots of great suggestions to improve what we havedone in the past. Thanks for sharing your information.
One of the best wild game chefs bar none. Inspirational, humble, down to earth with a waste not, want not attitude. He cooks it all, all parts, all game and when you see it, you will not only salivate, but you will also seek the recipe.
Wow! So I’m 14 years old that loves killing rattlesnakes in Belt Montana and me, my brother, and best friend decided to kill another snake it was a small one but it had lots of great skin! It took HOURS because this was our first time but was very interesting to explore and digest this reptile as pre biology students this was better than a classroom. Should’ve watched this video! We used a Jack/Pocket knife to skin it! It turned out pretty well but should’ve use your method thanks for the video keep up the fantastic work! Love your videos! ❤️ 💪
I'll be totally honest, I've never hunted or gutted anything, I'm a city guy, but I find this really interesting and informative, I saw a drawing of someone doing something similar but flinging it for the top of your head to between your legs, so making a 180° arch movement, probably a bit messy, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I’m 14, but I really wanna get into taxidermy! I wanna be a taxidermist. I’m buying a taxidermy cross fox soon, it’s absolutely gorgeous, I already have a good collection of birds, skins, tails, mammals and so on!
I really appreciate this video! It’s a shame to kill an animal and not eat it. The whole purpose of killing an animal is for food. I’ve never taken anything to a taxidermist because of that but I gotta try this!
