That’s some long time ago training day…. I think for you it would be beneficial to do skill practice before wods, even though I know that mind saying to do hard part at first and then easier but anyways after doing hard wods at first then afterwards there are very little energy left most of the times for focusing on skill practice. This was supposed to be your easier training day?😀
@@itsevelinakpI have never understood should stretching and mobility be included in training hours or not. I know most people saying yes, but I personally think it’s more like thing what’s helping so I could train better but not really training
I don’t have feelings about it,haha. I don’t know what else to really answer,I’m just lean and that’s how it is and by doing CrossFit my core gets stronger year by year
@@itsevelinakp Pensaba que había algún fin estético junto al de verse bien y sentirse bien consigo misma y estar sana. Por eso la pregunta. Gracias. Válida tu opinión.
where did you go in America? I am just curious because when you say that the people were very open and you talked about them having codes for the restrooms that is not common where I am from
we dont got public restroom buildings, but we have gas stations everywhere, and in the US, you don't have to pay to use the bathrooms there or at any other business.
In most gas stations in western Europe you have to pay to use the bathroom, not in Latvia where I live but countries like France,Switzerland,Poland ,Italy etc
Eveline the rules for four-way stops are all way stops are the same as in Europe the first person there is first but then it goes clockwise which means the person to your right has the right away. However in Philadelphia all bets are off, if you take too long they'll go. One doesn't really stop one taps there brakes. It's called a Philly stop it actually works wonderfully and traffic moves smoothly once you figure it out.
I have to admit, this was pretty cool to hear. I live in Texas, and don't get to hear perspectives of people coming here the first time. How long were you here in the US? Where all did you go?
I Went for 3 weeks to New York ,I have a lot of videos on my channel about it,I also went to another state ,but mainly in one state as I do not have the budget to travel far around
@@itsevelinakp Well if you ever make it to the Dallas, TX area, let me know. I'll take some time off and give you a tour and show you all the best places to eat. There's a lot of cool stuff to see here. Not as much as NY, obviously, but enough to keep you entertained for a day or two

I'm here to tell you it takes a day and half of non-stop driving to travel coast to coast, typically it takes people 4 to 6 days to actually do it. Source:I'm an American who's done the trip
In your dreams. Driving non-stop from the coast of CA for 24 hours will only get you to Oklahoma. It will take you at least another 24 hours of non-stop driving to get to the east coast. At a minimum, that is a 2-3 day trip....speaking from someone that has done it several times in my long life.
@@redsvx Depending a lot of factors it's entirely possible to make, albeit illegal but it is possible. It's also why I said typically takes 4.. Even with your own example you can make it from OK to FL in 14hr so I'm not sure what you are talking about. You a trucker? Cuz we don't go the same pace my friend
@@itsevelinakp That's the attitude! It's a lot better the longer you take to do it no need to rush it. In my opinion, be mindful of season though; summer sounds good until your car is over heating on the side of the road in Texas 💀 haha
Its interesting to see the difference in openness versus closed. This is a long shot but do you think Latvia is more closed from influence from soviet days? Interesting video all the same.
Hey! Actually we are not as “closed” as countries like Bulgaria,Romania & countries near those countries-there it literally looks like Soviet Union ,but I think mostly this part of Europe-eastern Europe is like this -colder,because I’ve been to Finland -it’s the same ,I feel like it’s the culture too,but ofc there are some massive impacts from Russians and the big wholes that the Soviet Union left . Thank you for watching and commenting :))
@abdelcoubadja9078 I live in Latvia ,it has not been turned into a military base, lol. People are leaving because of low income, our salaries are SO LOW compared to the rest of EU
@@itsevelinakp Interesting I have not been to much of Europe so I appreciate the info. I know the history of the Baltic states and Russia is a tense topic haha. But i could be wrong. Luckily you all are in NATO so atleast you are safe.
unless you are dying you should never call an ambulance, and never go to the Emergency room, Use the Urgent Care places, they are much cheaper, less wait time, but yeah you need to know where they are, easily found by looking on the internet
I agree not to call an ambulance, but definitely go to the emergency room if you need it. Legally speaking, you are not required to pay the bill when it comes. The hospital will write it off.
You should have flown to Mexico City, then take the bus to the border! You then walk across the border and stay as long as you like and get financial benefits too! Seriously though, I liked your video very much. I hope you have a wonderful time with us, and make some great friendships!
Cau!! Kā Tu pārvācies uz ASV!!! Ka dabūji vīzu lai tur dzīvotu 😭😭😭?! Es biju NYC 3 ned,man kanālā ir vlogi . Man pat tradet joes dārzeņu cenas ,ā nē-augļu cenas likās 🥲
@@itsevelinakp Also interesting as an american. The quality of food vs Europe is garbage here, and it's so expensive. I spend around $1500 a month between my gf and myself for the best quality food we can find that isn't overpriced, and the produce from most Store I've been in Europe that aren't labeled organic, ect., are better and way cheaper. Also, housing is absurd here. We allow houses to be speculative assets that anyone or company from anywhere in the world can buy. With a short supply, this means companies are buying houses to profit off of, so housing costs have almost doubled since covid. Mix that with a lot of poorly educated and closed minded people, and the US I think is really over hyped to the world. We aren't number 1 in anything but gun deaths. Here in San Francisco, $104,000 a year per person is the poverty line according to our local government. And you'll work 60 hours a week to make that with a masters degree that with undergrad, cost you $200,000 or more today.
@heyaisdabomb yes! Before I went I thought I’ll try all the snacks or foods in general etc in American grocery stores ,but then I went in turned the box other way around, almost fainted from the LOOONG list of unknown ingredients and then as fast as I picked it up ,I put it away..
@@itsevelinakp True, but you have to understand, a lot of those complicated ingredients are actually common things but they don't want to reveal what is actually in the food as it might give away "trade secrets" so they use the scientific term for the ingredient instead, which I think is dumb but oh well. Now, granted, some items are preservatives that aren't good for you but it is what it is.
Giving all you can on the race day is what matters💪. Next time go for sub 3 hour marathon, but for real that would be such an insane goal to achieve. But where’s few k warm up run before race?🥲
Don’t need that ,good with already 42km of dying,my warm up was almost missing the start and sprinting from looong toilet lines😂sub 3 mybe in a decade, lol
@@itsevelinakp toilet few minutes before race is always risky choice but still it’s a must. Sub 3 hour marathon no matter how long it would take to achieve that still would something impressive
@@TomsKampuss I mean ,I always forget that everyone is going to toilet before race so the lines are loooong. I don’t know how people run sub 3h,I seriously don’t understand
Thank you for posting this video. I am also on my beginner class and have gone to maybe four classes. Im loving it and i wanted to see someones transformation and this video helped me get an idea of what i will look like one year from now :) im doing crossfit here in Germany

Gonna try my first marathon in Tallinn in September. And yeah, that Riga marathon was hot, not what I was used to after running through whole winter. Thankfully I ran only half so I finished before heat got to the max.
I filmed this video more than 2 months ago and now re-watching it I’m shocked by how much I’ve improved, seriously…I can’t believe it ,I thought I’m the same as I was 2 months ago but woah I’m not !! My T2B are waaay better too
spending 1 week in a country doesn't make you an expert on that country. plus, understand that it's only your limited personal experience, ok? imagine, if the bus driver you saw had a huge nose, would you then say that "bus drivers in Greece have huge noses"? It's ok, you'll grow up, eventually....
