Hi my name is Lane Edwards and I am based out of Central Oklahoma. I started this channel because I have a DEEP passion for fishing. I love making videos and showing you what I know, so you can go out and catch more fish, whether it's in a boat or on the bank. I mainly fish for bass, but sometimes like to fish for crappie.
Please comment and interact with my videos, I am very open to any suggestions of what content you would like to see, I will almost always reply to any questions or comments.
I started fishing Okemah Lake in 1968 we would catch over 30, 3-5 pound fish a good day. I have not fished it in years, people tell me it is tough just a few keepers now!
Yessir I am going to try to the vlogs with some upcoming bass nation tournaments and I have a second go pro for the chest cam angle, but also want to get the new ultra 2 12in garmin to screen record the livescope
@@laneedwardsfishing that’s cool I am glad I found this channel keep it up and you will grow bigger and bigger and get some sponsors. Good luck in the bass nation tournaments.
I only use that to keep the boat in place without having to tie off to anything, when I'm ready to load it I just bring it to me and use the big motor to load it like normal
@@Wxyvs- I revert back to my previous statement. You have to deploy it manually...which means you're in the boat. This doesn't help at the ramp at all. Ulterra, however, would be a different story.
@@BenJones-jd7qh how does this not help? drive your booat off the trailer, drive yourself up to the dock via trolling motor then drive your truck to the parking spot, then drive the boat to you via remote
@@laneedwardsfishing Okay it sure seems to be shot to present it a diff way. The only self deploying trolling motor the I know of is the ulterra. So you are in the boat when you back it off then you come back to the dock. Why not just tie the boat up? You troll it back away from the dock and hit spot lock, park them come back and run the boat back to the dock? Dock lines work well!
@@lovethedogsNC yeah dock lines work but just spot locking trolling motor is quicker than getting rope out and tying up plus the boat doesn’t rub the dock
Yep, already did. I waited 3 weeks for the latest 2.2 version to be released. Finally took it out on the lake and it worked flawlessly. Tried again the next day and nothing again. Remote won’t connect and GPS light on unit is red.
I know that’s why I said early winter, cause December is not late fall. Wasn’t sure what to call it, but water temps are in the high 40s to mid 50s so that’s what I went with.
