Bro, lololol, you are right on the money! The chrome lined barrels, are the same deal, lol. PSA and BCM both get there chromed lined barrels from FN!! 😂 I figured a longtime ago that the PSA and BCM triggers are the same also, probably made by FN also. I remember 10+ years ago it had came out that FN was supplying PSA with chrome lined barrels, most of which were stamped/roll mark was right on the barrel, "FN." BCM about 10 years or so, some employees let it slip, they get there barrels from FN. FN the company, manufacturing is up the road from one of PSA's stores and they have a good relationship and had a contract with FN for there chrome lined barrels and other parts!!

Mine does that too. Sounds awesome. I think they take one of the injection events out at idle and it gives you that lope? I could be wrong.

I have a 212 that I purchased with no engine. I installed a Predator 420 from Harbor Freight and it works great! I also put on a sleeve hitch so I can use certain implements on it. I too dislike the whole belt drive system on it but it is what it is.

Probably would cost 3 times as much today. Cost of aluminum has skyrocketed. I have same situation--outdoors with block wall. I have 8 feet to be mounted to block and 6 feet mounted to siding of first floor. I am purchasing two 10-foot pieces of 1.25" (1.5" OD) EMT from HD. EMT is galvanized steel and won't corrode or rust. From Amazon bought a set of 6 stainless steel brackets that support the poles from screws underneath--that's about $60--they sell cheaper ones costing a third of that, but my staircase will be used by outsiders, so didn't want to skimp. And Amazon sells a set of 4 end plugs for $8. So mine will run about $130 (but could have been as cheap as $95). Not bad for 2023. I went to a local building supply to price aluminum poles and brackets - $350 (8 foot aluminum 1.5"OD is $100).

I've got 2 complete PSA lowers with MOE furniture and EPT, around $135 +free shipping on SALE I cant remember when but it was a big sale ( i.e.: Black Friday, Memorial Day) big holiday usually = big sales. anyway I love everything about these lowers especially the price...BUT I HATE THE MAGPUL FURNITURE! yes i said it, the MOE= cheap version had no QD mount on the stock and for that itself I can stand the Magpul stock, in the future I will definitely give up the extra $20 buck and get a B5 system stock which is way above the Magpul. If you catch them at the right time you wont beat PSA

I spent many, many hours in the seat of our E3 on our farm in Oak Bank, Manitoba . We had two E3's, a E2 swather, a E7 combine. When you started it up it was music to my ears! Speaking of ears, I think I can thank the E3 for my hearing, or should I say LACK of hearing!! Thanks for the memories. Jim.

I have one just like it, but with a 14" bar. No major issues with it & everything on it works properly. Bought it in 1985 at Best Products in Dayton, Ohio. Think I paid about $145. The anti-kick back tip fell off in the late 80s. I cut a lot of osage orange out of the fence row with it back in the day.

Just a thought on this video which you put it a few years ago. Thanks for doing it btw. You could put another foot like you did the wall anchors, and then a vertical support post off of it up to the unsupported end

I have one - they are very ammo fussy in 308. The heaver loads only pop up from the magazine correctly if you only load 2. I use the sako gamehead 123grain and they cycle flawlessly. You are better off with lighter loads anyway in that gun as it will kick hard otherwise.

If itvwon’t start without a squirt of fuel it’s because your carb probably isn’t set right or improper starting procedure. Verify your carb is together right and all orifices free and clear, make sure float height is set right. You need a gauge for that. Then choke on full and homd the throttle 3/4 open. It should fire up in 3-5 pulls. If not your low speed jet may be to lean ( not enough fuel). The carb needs to be tuned right or they won’t cold start well. Mine usually starts first pull.

I have the exact model bought new probably 30 years ago. It has been run sparingly over those years, but has original bar and blow molded case, but I've replaced the chain a few times. Other than a bit of a pain to add fuel to get around the hand guard it has been a terrific saw. For its size it has good power and is very light . Good saw

Give the old girl an engine rebuild and she last another 74 years. Love seeing old iron still being worked, I have a 45/54 Farmall A that runs ok I suppose (could use rings). It too has a transmission noise but it sounds like 3 wolverines in a bar fight, so I'm gonna keep using until something happens lol. Nice demonstration of your families tractor.
