All my life I have had more hobbies and interests than I can count. Every day I see new things that peak my interest, and I can't seem to rest until I've tried them. From electronics and 3d printing to woodworking and home improvement, I'll try it all, and this channel is my attempt at documenting my triumphs and, more likely, my failures... So pick a video, grab your tools, and let's make something awesome!

I know it’s been a while since you posted this video but would you think this machine would work to custom engrave cattle ear tags? Most people use a handheld dremel tool but i’m very much a perfectionist and wondered if this would work in the material of an ear tag. They’re plastic/ rubber material!
THANKS FOR THE HONESTY. I almost bought one, but I am not gonna struggle with these issues you pointed out… I am very, very very brand new to this and did not want to spend the money and this was the least expensive I could find, but I am not going to spend that kind of money on a piece of crap… Thank you.
Im interested in in getting my first " machine. Im looking at one on Ebay that has the laser module that comes with it. $210 or a different seller $129 plus $50 for the module from a different seller. Have you tried the laser or wasn't even worth it. What machine/machines are you actually using?
Oh, thanks for the video. I was real close to just purchasing the one that came with the laser. Thought well for $210 and it does both. Then figured I better check reviews.

I like the looks of these for a house I'm building. Just thinking longevity how hard is it to pull the lights back out of the ceiling after you snap them in there in case you need to replace them?
I think your Video and Review/Comments Appear to be honest and Trustworthy I liked your Findings and Reccomendations IMO. It’s still hard for me to digest at 60 years of Age that today for $149.00 give or take we can get something with this machines Ability and Technology shipped to you and with minor tweaking and some time for Assembly. You can have it up and Working in a somewhat Reasonable time frame Although it has its flaws and Linitations IMO it’s appears to be a decent deal I’m a retired Professional Woodworker by Trade having this machine Appears to be a Asset in my Shop/Home to have Around for certain projects
I love that perspective! It’s easy to take for granted the access we have to tools like this! I still find myself speechless sometimes when I watch my 3D printers going! Thanks for the comment!
What program you use to edit the gcodes l get a mini cnc from vevor too but l cant use because l dont have any idea about g codes and programs my cnc its a mini cnc router machine s4040
Good video , I like the step by step. I found that the delivery and time element negated the effort. Also, why do these videos blast you with very irritating digital sound tracks. At least turn it down.
Great vid. Lots of information! I'm wanting to light up the steps on my staircase. But I don't want a continuous line of lights that run to and from each step. Does that make sense? So how would I black out the strip? Or can I add spacers? I am a newbie to tape lighting and don't know any lingo, but your video helped me substantially! Thank you I still don't know what I need to buy lol. My husband remodeled an old "dairy cow/hay barn" so we have 3 levels. One side of the staircase is held up by a couple TREES. The staircase is dark and I don't have easy access to power, on that side. I'd like to "highlight" His work, not take away the "wow" with a crappie lighting job🎉.kwim Tnx again for the video! I am now a subscriber! Lol
Hey thanks for the comment! You can buy some extension cables for the LED's so rather than running the LED lights back and forth, you could use the extension cables to "blackout" the lights, so to speak. Here is an example of what I'm talking about, and it even has some connectors (though you may want to buy more connectors): amzn.to/3YV4HjX Make sure to get extension cable/connectors with the right number of pins for the LED strip that you go with though! Hope that helps!
Thanks for the review dude, I was just about to hit the button to order one of these and I think I will give it a miss. I think the frustration isn't worth the price point. Cheers!
I ran into random problems installing Marlin. It does strange rituals when starting a print. It homes xyz. Z is rising like 50mm up. Y moves super slow forward for abit. Z lowers down then X goes straight to print. Sometimes Z+X elevates directly down to begin printing. (like it should). Its strange I cant find those activities in the Gcode..
Why dont you just buy a pad, fire up after effects, build yourself a little movie and play it repeatedly, after all that youll have a touchscreen computer with gigabytes of space and full cpu. Try to play a movie with that pico
