Hey everyone! This channel is to inform and document my journey in my car ownerships. I hope to pass the knowledge I have obtained over the years to others and offer help anywhere I can! Thanks for the support!
If you go with the Alcantara dash trim, you can probably get the matte carbon steering wheel trim to match the shifter and ebrake. I think it'll make everything cohesive
@@Scoobyfreak86 thanks, dealer quoted me at 1,900 for front oem rotor and pad install so deciding to do it myself since I can get way better parts for cheaper. Do you have recommendations, currently deciding between hawk 5.0 pads and dba 5000 or rotora h6 pads and their super challenge rotors
@@Scoobyfreak86 sounds like I'll be getting rotora thanks! and assuming you had the h6 pads did you notice they weren't as strong with low temps such as just driving around, I know they are meant for street/track so was wondering if they only work rly good at higher track temps.
How does a 2015 f150 have 83,000 miles on it…. I own a 2016 f150 xlt 5.0 v8 and it just reached 180,000 miles 🥲 I know I should probably just buy another truck but I think Im going to modify my 2016 truck and make it dope as fuck.
Curious if you know 100% for sure the key from Mashi is OEM? From my understanding, the OEM keys didn't work for this conversion due to hardware and a replica is used - at least by Gates Innovation and other DIYers on the forum. I've had the Gates key for years and the battery needs replacing once a year. Not the biggest deal but if an OEM option is offered, it could be worth it.
They are not an OEM shell. But the internals are from your OEM key. So it’s basically just retrofitting your old keys guts into the g80 shell. Motor swap if you will. So battery should function and work the same as OEM.
@@Scoobyfreak86 Are you sure? That's not how it's been done for years. Previously, just one specific chip which has all your data is soldered onto the new board is from the original key.
@Scoobyfreak86 I just got mines install a couple of days ago and I love it. Wondering though, are you able to adjust the temp of AC separately from driver to passenger instead simultaneously? Thank you
@Scoobyfreak86 thanks for the advice, however I can't see that sync button you were referring to. Are you able to walk me through where it is. I tried looking everywhere lol!!
Im just curious if the noise was intermittent. I have replaced my 4wd solenoid and check valve. Like your truck the sound on mine seems to be coming from the driver side. It wont make the noise for a while when driving in 2wd but once it starts it will keep doing it. I have vacuum tested the lines like 3 times but I will one more time before I purchase the IWE's just to be sure. Thank you for any help.
It was intermittent for a bit and then eventually when they totally failed, it was all time. Willing to bet you’ll need to get a new IWE. I too tried to remedy it with the solenoid and check valve, but knew the IWE was going to need to be done. Nearly a year later and it hasn’t made a single noise since I replaced them.
@@Scoobyfreak86I’m going with a Dorman IWE and replacing both of them tonight I need to be on the highway tomorrow🤣. You’re by far the best when it comes to responding to comments thank you very much
Fyi: This video needs an epileptic seizure warning for the constant flashing rays of sunshine in the viewer's eyes...lol. Great detailed review of your Recaro PP seats, tho.
Thank you for your excellent video on the bakflip mx4. I recently bought a 2023 Maverick with the factory installed version of this product. Your video was very imformative in that it showed me that the factory product had not been installed exactly as it should have been (the panel assembly was too far forward and allowed just a slight gap between the end panel and the top of the tailgate. Your video showed me that it could be slid back enough to fully cover the bed in a much drier manner. Well done!
Beautifully. Just did a recent wash and talk and still loving it. Not a single issue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZMLVT40N1ds.htmlsi=bKhkMyOyiWtZ7IMQ
Appreciate the details with all the content. I did have a question looking into one of these for my G80. Since you have had the chance to drive both F & G chassis, do you think there is a major difference in manuals? I know they are both the same box but with different tuning.
They both feel pretty similar. The g80 felt a bit better stock for stock. The g80 clutch felt a bit lighter and easier to drive overall, but they are pretty close.
@@Scoobyfreak86 Ok thanks for the feedback helps out a lot. Ronald did get back to me about everything with my G80, he let me know his experience with the G80 only comes from his shifter test not stock, so only feedback will be from the f8x platform and his experience. I am thinking of going forward with everything, did you have any feedback, sorry for all the questions.
@keiyonnash5695 go with it. It’ll be a huge improvement. It’s easily my favorite medication I’ve done to the car. It’s incredible. No worries! Glad to help.
