The thing that makes the 2018 better that most people aren't talking about is how big of a difference that red behind the tongue sticking out around it and the 2024 pair has it hidden, which makes the tongue bland and doesn't pop. Imo it takes a lil away from the flow and feel of the design of the shoe. I'm still copping, but that's my take lol
I agree with you to a certain extent. My thing is Adidas and Reebok have managed to make their retros almost identical to the originals. They may have skimped out on the technology a little bit, but their molds have managed to be just as good as their originals. As a matter of fact, I have a retro pair of Avias from their '85 line, the shoe which shares a similar mold as the Jordan 1. That shoe is 100% accurate to the original. To your point, Nike isn't going to make special molds for certain shoes, but they shouldn't hike the price up on a shoe that they're claiming is close to the originals.
Well said, and I agree about the price hike totally. I'm not taking up for Nike/ Jordan, but look at how crazy the demand was and selling out regardless of the quality. I believe they were trying to get out at one point cheap as possible ( True Blue 3s ), and they did start giving better quality starting 2020, in my opinion.
@@supersetking224 Can't forget about the 2012 Jordan 4 lineup. My fire red paint chipped off the first day I wore them. When I tried to clean them, the paint just smeared off. By the way, I didn't wait a long time like I usually do to rock my shoes. I had them barely a month when that happened.
There are many millennials that get it, but some are very outspoken. And Gen Z has no clue. Lol, but in their defense, no Gen X person has a big platform. Thanks for watching 👍🏾
All tou jordan retro-sexuals are pathetic. Imagine siting around hoping wishing and begging a brand to re-release their oldstuff because their best days are behind them as a brand. Jordan brand/Nike got you robots by the balls.
Stop making excuses for Jordan Brand. You have to know these Black Cements are simply repurposed Green Glows. If you don’t think these are trash, hold up a pair of the A Ma Maniére 3s that just dropped next to them. Quality vs trash all for 5 bucks more. Use your eyes and your brain. Pissed me off so bad I had a pair of Black Cements made from the all red pair that dropped a few years ago. They came out perfect.
Thanks for watching, but you can't compare a collab shoe to a GR.... The production numbers and details are way different, and trust me, I had the originals, so I know how it has been from the beginning.
@@supersetking224 wayney boi is just plain wrong, these are going to be the closest to OG the...2018s are the furthest from the OG and Im saying this before the video plays out but I got faith you going to say the same if you an OG
A lot of these kids know everything about nothing. I got my pair in and they’re flawless! This is the closest we will get to the OG 1988 release. Let these fools sleep… I need another pair, lol!
Yeah if em 17s lows gonna move than definitely bring jordan 15s-23s. I'm gettin bored with em 1s-14s with every color to man. Yes the aj 6s white/infrared and sport royal need the nike air treatment.
Have you heard of Diadora from Italy? They offered Mi Basket line that costs the same as the $250 Jordan 1 Bred except way better quality in Portugal and Made in Italy variation. The main problem is the shipping cost. In the Philippines, it costs $80 on a single pair.
@@supersetking224 Ohh. You can try to review Mi Basket Used if you have time buying it online. Seeing those sneaker brands that are often overlooked is insane.
Deion's first signature shoe was in 1993 his last year with the Falcons actually Deion wore the Diamond Turf colorway with the Ravens in 2004 white/purple/black
