Welcome to KWWM! In 2013 I was laid off from my 9-5 job. At the time I thought it was the worst thing to ever happened to me. I decided to sell everything I owned and follow my dream of living in the Florida keys. Fast forward to today, I make my living in and on the water as a self employed charter guide, commercial fisherman and Spear fisherman. Never in a million years did I think it was possible to be this happy and truly love my life. I created this channel in hopes to entertain, educated and inspire through my adventures. Some thoughts : Do you ever scuba ? It would be nice to see. Just...cuz.(I'm an old scuba guy) And was there not a giant fish at 14:36 ? I guess that was a goliath...you don't go after them (?) they look like they are just too nice a docile fish to shoot.(?) I used to wash my gear seriously well....and my stainless steel knife still rusted. And....sometimes I'll be watching an episode and i realize I just have a smile plastered across my face...that's Madeleine. I have a ton of You Tube channels - she's the only person who just plasters a smile on my face. For what it's worth. thanks
KWW! What are your thoughts on a light mounted on your speargun? I’m thinking about putting one on mine. Seems like it would free up a hand and allow a quicker shot.
I’m definetly Interested in trying this recipe. Do you refrigerate for the hour that it is soaking in the lemon and lime? And what type of oil do you use for the fryer?
Have to agree with your beautiful wife on this one. I’ve known 3 guys who died doing something like this, all experienced and all of whom thought they knew their limits. Madeline wants you around for 40 or 50 more years. 😀

Super spear fishing. Risky a bit but an adventure too it. And a great bonus with the feast. Especially the tostones with that coconut 🥥 fish device. Delicious 😋
We like to come to the keys every year but the price of bringing grouper home is getting so high I have been thinking of doing a charter to get some. My wife and I both love to fish so it would just add to our vacation. Thank you for the great videos.
This vid brought tears to my eyes, the tiki hut you were seating brought me memories when I was a child in Cuba visiting my Grandmother, the place you stayed brought me memories when also as a child in Cuba we used to watch an Adventure Series called Flipper ( bottle nose dolphin 🐬 ) .. anyhow I hope one day I can buy a place down there.
