Just came back from this so called resort and it’s horrible! Do not waste your money on it ! Nothing of the food options she is showing is available ! Your breakfast is a continental American breakfast with Mac Donald’s type of hash browns, sausage links and eggs that’s it the rest of faked out with sweet bread, cereal boxes and fruit with a lot of flies all over it 🤢. Resort is so small there is nothing to do and the night entertainment is poor quality.
The size of the resort and the more quiet vibe should have been known when you booked. The food report is very disappointing. Can you link to your video where you reviewed the food options?
The ship looks nice but the food is awful in the main dining room and the buffet. If your room is on deck 2, you can forget about getting any sleep. The galley is on deck 3, and there is 24/7 banging very loud. Don't bother playing bingo because the winner is predetermined. I guess there too lazy to use a regular ball dispense machine. My first sailing on Carnival and my last. Ship is clogged with people on scooters. 90% of the employees are miserable.

Ok so my wife and i booked a trip for our family on the spur of the moment to this resort for the 31st of July, and are super excited to go! And thank God your review was what i chose to watch to learn more about the resort, cause at 59 seconds in i realized we booked our flight to SJO!!!! So united came through for us in a big way and got us now flying into Lir. Can't thank you enough for the tips but mostly for the airport tip, you are an angle.
I’m new to Carnival, can I book these restaurants prior to sailing or once on board? Also, do you recommend My Time Dining over Early or Late?can you book a reservation in the Main Dining room prior to sailing w My Time Dining?
Specialty dining can be booked in advance. It really depends on who you are traveling with, what ship you are on, and what your itinerary is for the dining time recommendation. That's part of the service we provide to clients who book through our travel agency.
This place is pretty low end. You can find better resorts with better beaches, more amenities and better food in Florida, the Florida Keys, or Turks & Caicos.
@@TripswithAngie Yes. Sandpiper Bay Resort in Florida, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa in Florida, Bungalows in Key Largo, Alexandra Resort or Club Med in Turks & Caicos, etc...just to name a few.
@@MusicWizard85I totally disagree that Sandpiper and the Bungalows have a better beach. Sandpiper is on a river. 🤷🏼♀️ But if you like it better that's awesome. Plus Bungalows is 4x the price so I'd hope it's A LOT better.
@@TripswithAngie I never once stated they ALL have better everything...🙄 Some have better food options, others have better beaches, some have both, etc. They may be more expensive but you get what you pay for hence why I'm not the only comment on this video that mentioned this place being lower quality. Turks & Caicos for example is better than St Thomas in every possible way. Grace Bay is on every list of top 5 beaches in the world.

Fortunate had a friends and family discount and the difference between regular Veranda and AC was $23 a person for the entire trip. That small a difference was worth giving it a shot.
I’ve sailed on 20 Celebrity cruises and managed to reach the dizzy heights of Elite Plus on their Captains club program. Only done 1 Aqua & the only decent perk I experienced was dining in the Aqua restaurant Blu. We didn’t use the spa not our thing. I’ve done 4/5 Concierge cruises due the price difference being very minimal to a balcony on a higher deck. Concierge provides the cabin with a afternoon plate of cold foods :- olives etc & 1 bottle of sparkling wine during the duration of the cruise (think we got same on our Aqua cruise) So I won’t book aqua again I cannot justify the higher cost. Celebrity pricing is very weird, I can fully understand sailing on the Edge class being more costly but I’ve recently booked a cruise on Infinity & the price was extremely high top $. I’m on the Equinox next week from Barcelona to Rome 9 nights great price ! Other price anomalies are on the drinks packages I like a beer or two especially the craft beers and I did try to upgrade my classic to a premium one however it’s not allowed as both members of the cabin have to have the same package ? Madness my wife only has a few G&T’s a day so the classic package is still more expensive compared to the drinks she has.
Great Video Angie...how hard is it to get reservations at the "a la Carte" restaurant? We go to lots of AI resorts and some of them are next to impossible to get reservations for and that is a huge Pet Peeve for me...thx

When you say "a la cart" in your video, does that mean its INCLUDED as part of the ALL INCLUSIVE.? Or does that mean you have to pay additional.? Also, are mimosas made and served here as partner of the all inclusive too.?

I called and switched to a terraza regular balcony - I hate that people can just walk up onto your balcony - And into your room if it’s unlocked! No bueno.
