I remember we first got one of these automatic stirring machines when I was growing up. I ran across one at walmart a few weeks ago and bought it. It's the smaller Dash machine but it works for me. I like the fact that a lot less oil and butter goes a lot further with this machine.
I have this product. I love it. But sometimes I have trouble getting the sandwich out. I spray both sides before I put the sandwich in & retrieve it with tongs.
1:24 this machine is horrible! The kernels fly everywhere before they get hot enough to pop! How do you avoid this? Why didn’t you mention it in your video?
Love the video I've been looking for stovetop recipes Ill get flack i know i also know about editing did you either clean the board. or at least flip it to prevent cross contamination when putting the cooked back on the board . Let me get my helmet 🪖
I will never use a board without it being cleaned and sanitized and I will do that between editing especially for something that cooked for hours. Most of the time I use different boards for everything and when not showing I use color coded ones often.
You should, I do prefer adjustable ones for certain things. I should have a new kettle to share in the next week or 2 that an American based company is sending me. I love to support local and small business when I can.
For tea like we drink in the UK, boiling water is recommended. Coffee doesn't need it to be boiling. I can vouch that our UK kettles boil in half the time because we use twice the voltage.
I got a 2000 series because it comes with a water filter already installed but the 3000 and up series I find a bit superfluous. There's nothing those offer that you can't do on the cheaper ones, except it takes a bit more work instead of having things "automatic". An interesting hidden feature is setting the water temperature. By default it's se to medium.
Add 1oz cold water to dissolve the coffee. Wait 2 minutes after the water comes to boil. Add about half the water, stir then add the remaing water. See if that makes a difference in the taste.
I don't want the actual butter, and want lightly seasoned popcorn. I pop popcorn with this model into a huge bowl with a tight fitting lid, and shake it with Flavacol. Flavacol is the buttery salt powder that movie theaters use. It's really fine powder, and just enough of it sticks to slightly flavor the popcorn I keep about a tablespoon of the stuff in the big bowl, and shake the popcorn, turning it every way, until a (admittedly tiny) amount of the powder sticks to it. I eat the popcorn, run the Flavacol through a sieve to remove leftover popcorn particles, then return the powder to the bowl for next time. No fat, no real need to wash, and Flavacol is almost all salt anyway. If you want it more seasoned but still with very little fat, you can use some type of cooking spray directly on the popcorn, but it's very easy to get way too much of the salt to stick.
Living in a wide body camper van, I just received my 2.4qt enameled cast iron dutch oven. I have a 2 burner gas cooktop and an induction backup burner. It wasn’t manufactured with an oven. Thank you for your stove top pot roast recipe. I love a good beef, or pork, roast. Finding cast iron recipes without using an oven has been challenging!
