Good work! I don't like the Nautilus or the Royal Oak (can't get past those stupid hex heads with screw slots - sheesh!). The Holy Trinity make almost nothing that interests me. Thanks for saying it. Love the channel, you're on your way.
@@ProtomanZ The black bay 58 looks better than the Sub and the BB36 looks better than the explorer. People who buy Tudor want a good watch, people who buy Rolex just want status and usually don’t know anything about watches. Rolex is literally the most boring watch brand in the world. 😴
@@turnbasedtoddy7664 Nah. Theres alot better brands than Tudor if you cant afford a Rolex. Buy whatever you want. Im just saying Tudor is boring Rolex homage brand 🤣
The BlackBay doesn’t rival the Explorer. It’s to blingy and the dial is the layout for a diver just without the dive bezel. I have the BB54 and it looks almost the same just without the bezel. If you compare it to rolex maybe to the OP, but same here dive watch layout. I have the OP36 black dial and would always take this over the BB36. I don’t understand the positioning of the watch, it’s kind of confusing. It would be better if they wouldn’t use the rounded indices and kept it squared or in any other shape to separate it from their dive watches.
That’s because Tudor messed this watch up. The older BB36 from a couple years ago absolutely rivals the Explorer and IMO look much better than the explorer. Now they messed the watch up with this new design and made it too blingy and gave it a Jubilee bracelet. They need to go back to the old design.
You can compare it to the Omega Railmaster, which is also basically a diver without bezel. Imho Tudor should only call their divers Black Bay, not the shown series and also not the chrono, it doesn‘t make sense indeed

I just got the Marine 41mm GSAR and i love it.....i have 6.5in wrists and it wears very much like a 39mm watch minus how tall it is.....Great review btw i just subscribed 😀
That was a very interesting story, big supporter of the ladies being in the watch market. Looked on the internet, but couldn’t find a web site for her watches. Does she have a website for her brand?
I've seen watches under $150 that look less cheap than this watch... It's not worth more than $130 MAX. But I can understand that a new guy in watches would fall for the design and the marketing. Anyways, if Daniel loves it, that's the only thing that matters in the end.
Hi thanks for the comment, it definitely was a misstep in my watch collecting journey however it has taught me a lot and has led to me buying a new and much higher quality watch that has brand recognition and prestige. Stay tuned... 😉
Watch snobs will turn their noses up at anything from AliExpress, but Addiesdive's success speaks clearly of a global following of folks who appreciate their quality and value. I have all 3 variants of this watch - the blue dial is a bit of a disappointment because its surface is not textured and therefore loses the 3D quality offered by the brown and white variants.
You got me again. Every time I end up buying the watch, you feature. Good thing this one was very affordable. Just under $57 usd. Awsome video as always. Thanks. Keep em coming.
Because of this video, just dropped a grand. 😂. I bought one 5 minutes after I watched your video. Love your vids. Hard to find a 36mm admirer on youtube. Thanks. Keep em coming
This is a 40mm “modern “ version. Is not the 38mm version which has a limited 5500 run. 22 zhuan means 22 jewels for the modern version ,the 38 has 21 jewels. I just bought it at the official boutique 3 days ago in Shanghai.
36 mm is the perfect size for a watch. I absolutely love this watch, but I’m not a fan of the bracelet as I really hate polish on a watch unless it’s a dress watch.
Wore a 1963 through 2 tours in Iraq, 1 in A-Stan and a gig in Pakistan. Ran like a champ. No need to worry about servicing as I could just buy another.
My Tudor Black Bay 36 black dial is the Perfect everyday/occasion watch for me! I like the slabside case which makes the watch look chunkier compared to the more rounded smoother case of the Explorer. Also, its nice to hear your honest opinion on the over hype of those other gaudy luxury watch brands that so, many other youtubers constantly praise and reiterate the same biased content! For me, I'll continue to enjoy wearing my Tudor BB36 mowing the lawn, changing oil in my car and splashing around in the ocean while vacationing in Hawaii! 😊
Stunner timeless classic.. frankly Tudors are the Rolex of old.. and lets face it more personality these days which big brother has forgotten how to be.
@@lachangaustralia I Agree! I always wanted to buy a Rolex Explorer but, with the way Rolex does business and the lack of watches available, I'm much more Happier with my Tudor BB36! 😊
