I'm a fan of all the Kyle Katarn games, and I thought this one was amazing. My only complaint is the title. Jedi Knight 2? Jedi Knight WAS a part 2 - Dark Forces 2. Why not call this one Jedi Outcast: Dark Forces 3? Oh well.
When i first played the game around 03-04 i was way to young to follow the plot or just play the game properly in general, years later i revisited it and had an amazing time. Truly a gem for its time
You’re not wrong. It’s a big reason why a lot of people are going back to playing older games. But it is nice to wonder what a game like this would look like if it was remade or remastered.
great video i would watch a indepth review if you had one on this but i appreciate the brevity of the video because it reignited my interest in playing this classic from my childhood that my dad showed me my dads been dead for a few years now and every now and then i go through and do stuff that i did with my dad or watch/play/ or read things that he liked to do Also cant wait to see you talk about the sequel.

They don't make them like they used to. Raven was such a good developer back in the day when they worked on their on games. Sad to see them stuck working on COD games now :(
I recently completed Max Payne for the first time ever at the age of 58. Back when this came out, I only played flight sims. I played it on a Pentium 4 system running Windows 98 - it worked perfectly at 1024x768.

Thanks for your review! ❤ It's always nice when people remember this game. I remember trying to get a bootleg version to run on my old computer in the 2000s and it constantly crashing😢. But I was so entranced by the few moments that I got to play it before it crashed so it never fully left my mind. Finally played and completed the game on Nexus 7 when it came out on Android. Extremely memorable game. Glad they had Max Payne return as Alex Casey in Alan Wake 2, haha!
The game is graphically dated...but yet they still hold up! Same with the story and play control. I always come back to this one every couple of years. One of the best!
