Man I got a 91 percent damage combo and I’m so good at dashing in with combos and with fighting support so overall I think. Shiva the best character in the game hands down I can do a lot of combos with him it’s so simple so effortlessly to use him so I’d recommend him

Does alternating back flip kick and air dive special keep juggle going? I try to do that but it feels like i run out of juggle points and she just gets hard knocked. Trying to understand the mechanics so i can practice this combo better.

The infinites that you see in stage 6 and stage 9 can only be done in those stages, yes. Every other infinite that you see in the video, not in those stages, is not stage specific
Just to inform you that I finally finished arcade on mania+ with Axel with S rank. I barely succeeded because I defeated the final boss with 0 lives. But I had 8 lives from level 10 need to practice last levels more, but know I will defiantly take a break from SOR4. Maybe Max will be my next character to practice.

This game was a HUGE letdown… this was NOT Streets of rage. I hope they had followed up from Streets of rage remake or Streets of rage X. They had destroyed the whole mechanics and the game play. Huge disappointment!
I hear you man, sorry to hear that. For me the game is great, but the latest version v8 was a huge let down. And sorr is 2nd best imo. Havent played streets of rage x yet but im sure its a lot of fun after seeing some cool combos on RU-vid
Its awesome man! Just curious though, in v1.4.1 Cherry requires a condition to use her alt f.special guitar attack. Will this be permanent for future versions? I think it would be really nice to have that condition removed because that condition prevents me from utilizing it effectively for a speedrun :( Her guitar attack is extremely useful and to have that input simplicity taken away is just heartbreaking man lol. Im just so used to having that great move for speedruns and scoreruns. i could only hope for the future i suppose. Adam is an absolute beast though, very enjoyable at the moment
@@KOSODRAGON Thanks for the feedback, I think you have a valid point, and the move doesn't seem like it's too OP. I'll have a chat with the team and will see if we can make it work somehow, because currently I think it's most likely the complexity exists because we didn't manage to find a good way to map alt offensive without it clashing with the original offensive. I'll need to clarify this with the fellla's that did the most testing (I'm mostly just building the modding tools at the moment) I haven't tested all that much, but I suspect that adding a mapping say forward forward special for it would make it very hard to execute the original special due to the inputs being too similar. You might always get the move you don't want while you're trying to execute the other (if that makes sense). One idea I can think of, is to map it to forward forward pickup. This will be a bit inconsistent with how it works with cancels, but I think it could work (we prefer not to change the mappings too much as it means we need to republish the guides, and stuff might not work the same way). What do you think?
@@FuzzYetDeadly no problem man and i appreciate your plan to talk to the team about this. I think thats a great idea to map it to forward, forward pick up. However i do think that down + pick up would be even better. I wonder though if its possible to assign a characters alt special to an entirely different button? If not then, i suppose down + pick up button would be the next best thing
@@KOSODRAGON This was one of the main challenges we had with characters that have runs/dashes. We could map it to forward forward special (which I like more personally), but it means that if you run towards an enemy and press special, the alt will probably come out, and there won't be a way to do neck break in situations you might want it instead. As a Cherry player, do you foresee that there would be cases where during a run you might want to use either of the alt offensives? Due to how we design moves in Reignited, personally I think both options should be available to the player so they can choose what they want to do
@@FuzzYetDeadly absolutely. In any type of run, her neck break attack and her alt air special are cherrys superior moves so i would definitely go with that. I have a lot of strats for speedruns and scoreruns that greatly rely on both on those moves. Perhaps assigning these moves to down + pickup will prevent the accidental neck break while running. But as you said, maybe it's best just to give players the option to choose between the default and alternative moveset. I agree with that. And in my opinion, only when its been figured out, the challenge of assigning alt special to a different button, then add all this to a new version of Reignited. I think that may take a long time. But i think it will be worth it when that task is completed
Yooo, glad to see you've started work on this! I am curious though, any particular reason you prefer to run v1.0.0 instead of v1.4.1? I think the latter has more to offer since each character has access to more moves, and the difficulty was tuned to reduce conga lining a bit more
Cool, cool. Although im aware that Adam is even more of a monster in the latest version i decided to use the original version because of 2 things that were changed or removed from cherry in the latest version. Mainly because her neck break requires a certain condition to use it. So for convenience i chose to do a combo video in the original version for now. Certain things in the full combo video which will be released next week, are only possible for cherry in 1.0.
