Wanting to do big bore on it just want to have all the parts ready so I don't tear it down and run into a part I need or something I didn't think of.... Running 110 octane, 6sigma jetkit 20cc bottles,( nitrous), lower intensity spark plug gap at .5 instead of the .7, hammerhead high proformace adjustable cdi box, aftermarket coil, 7.5 gram rollers high speed glxial variator, glxial high proformace 2000rpm clutch, 15 tooth drive sprocket, 24inch mud tires on the back and 23 on the front, top speed is slow around 27-28, but I used it for mudding and pulling hills, have even pulled a few 600cc sxs out of the mud, i dont do it anymore tho, last time almost ripped my engine off lol
I'm going from a DC to AC (yerf dog rover) I'm lost man. Can you please send me a drawing of what goes where. The harness I bought is set up for DC and keeps blowing my fuses because I'm not understanding what wires I cut to keep power from going to the CDI. I understand that I need the Exciter wire, but I don't know how to find the wire from the harness that I didn't need. Please send drawing of what color wire I need to go where. I have the key switch with 5 wires hanging off of it
I think there is a mistake here when the dc cdi gets ground on the 2 pin plug it will kill the engine. so having the key on ignition is sending ground to cdi, which is killing spark. I know this is true for the ac cdi, when ground is applied to 2 pin plug it kills spark.
First off thank you for the knowledge. Second - bought a yerfdog Rover. Want a different carb but the gravity fed isn't an option. So do they make a non junk system, or do I need to get the welder out and start fabrication on a new gas tank placement?

I have a stock bms 2008 800 cc I can’t seem to find the wheel bolt patter I measured it in inches it gives me 3.5 do any body know the wheel bolt pattern
@@rafaelhernandez5283 I wired this buggy myself but I believe I might have a complete sandpiper 250 wiring harness from Lucifer which was originally the same buggy before I transformed it. I am going through stuff preparing to move the shop this year so if this is something you might be intersted in I would be willing to sell it. I won't have a use for it.
typically GY6 B-Block has a bore opening of 65mm for it can fit an SSP-G Cylinder 63mm Piston Kit for its cylinder skirt slip-in at 64.9mm inside a GY6 B-Block crankcase or inside a Polaris RZR 170 crankcase bore opening perfectly , it’s a dropin kit
How much voltage an AC CDI recieves from magneto? Also, can I run an AC CDI on 12V 50Hz AC step down transformer for my project??? (I want continuous sparks at the spark plug)
Hell yeah finally a way to tell for sure. I've been watching a few videos and I kept saying to myself man there's got to be a better way to know for 100% sure. Thanks I just tried mine and it don't have power on the two plug so it's AC correct
Hello could u answer me please why i have got a problem with putting in forward gear , gear pops up very often with a noise , everything is ok when i reverse and while i am moving slowly then i can put in forward gear very smootly without this problem that i wrote before ?? After that forward gear engadge like it should ....
It's nice how it collected all the bits in one place to make it easier for you 😂. Had jobs like that with the engine cleverly turning itself into a 3d jigsaw.
The blue stuff is haylomar blue which is a gasket adhesive I use on the center gaskets. I find it helps on higher compression motors from blowing them out. I suspect because he had joked about using nos a few times in the shop that he might have actually given it a try.
@@jdscustombuggies1733 Interesting. With the higher compression ratios, do you see higher crankcase pressures also? If you, why so much blow-by? I'm in MN and do alot of these type engines. Most people I deal with just want them to run. Not doing to many big bores or HC pistons and heads. But if so, are they prone to having higher case pressures requiring a better seal in the case halfs because of leakage?
as long as there is no cracks that will keep bolts from threading in tight or cause leaking it can be ok. after a good cleaning and going over then it will be easier to make that call. but it is ok if they are a little banged up of ugly inside.
