Thank you, im a marketer owning ecom brands in Chile, and your vids are helping me a ton, now im struggling with campain structure , because i get all messy in the ads manager, even though im profitable on the front end, i know it can be more organized and planned, once i worked with a bedia buyer who was able to scale in that way, but very expensive and now im doing it myself
You've positively impacted me by candidly sharing your background, and in particular your prison experience. It's so inspiring to see how far you've come. As the son of immigrants with very little family in the U.S., I often feel behind when speaking to my other friends about topics like business & entrepreneurship. The contrast between their upbringing and family ties relative to mine is stark. But seeing you emerging stronger from prison, and seeing you learn about these topics independently on RU-vid--- much like I am doing now--- gives me a sense of brotherhood. Thank you for impacting me, Joe. Love the promise to not hold anything back. I pinky promised on the other end. I promise to do the same. Keep it up!
This is the goat approach to marketing and advertising, I come from a direct response background and big brands seem to mostly focus on omni presence and branding instead of just CRO
Hey Joe ,I'm really glad I found a gem like u! I had a few questions if u don't mind, they might get a bit lengthy tho I am about to launch a product but I do not have the starting capital nor the skills by myself to really utilise video ads so I am trying to make something happen purely through image ads and when and if I get that proof of concept with my product I am going to invest in video ads and people more talented and experienced than myself. Right now I am going to try 4 different angles via broad targeting and there are going to be 4 to 5 different formats of image ads with at least 2 variations of each format per adset ,the ads are more informative and comparative etc rather than the product being modelled by someone as I am editing the images I found online. Do you think trying products like this has has any chance of working out or is it a step in the wrong direction? Plus I am rather confused by what stage of the funnel should I target to test the viability of a product and how exactly to do that as I cant seem to find an in-depth video on RU-vid regarding this topic(I have somewhat of an idea tho(I think so at least😂)) Any guidance will be highly appreciated as although I have been trying to gain Information on this business model for about a year and a half now ,I feel like I have some understanding of the field but I am still far from having an adequate understanding to setup my own store properly ,as I have tested about 2 to 3 products as of yet if you could give any advice it would be a massive help, but looking at how long this turned out even if u can't it would be understandable Have a great day!
@@ecomjoe Sure so the product is basically Gloves which can be used to target people who have carpal tunnel, finger joint pain, soreness or muscle pain etc in their hands. Here is some more extra information regarding the product and my thought process although it might get a bit long (again) I choose this product as it has plentiful use cases and a multitude of possible avatars to test moreover this product can also serve as a gateway to a whole eco system of similar products (probably with similar ad styles and concepts) targeting different body parts such as wrist bands, knee, calf sleeves. Also I think this ecosystem provides a chance to make a great upsell or bundle offer with a complimentary product to the glove.Another factor which made me choose this product was as this is quite a simple product it costs at most 1to 3 dollars to source per glove while competitors are selling them for around 30 dollars.Although they have branded the products quite well with heaps of social proof and complimentary free e book gifts about pain treatments and healthy meal plans to combat pain in certain areas. As I am going to test this in only in the USA as of yet the most notable and successful competitor in this sub niche is onecompress(I think). They are utilising both the image and video ads the video ads mostly being a mix of informative and review based edits with AI voice overlaysAnd the image ads are of two styles most feature(for the glove) the gloves being modelled in various scenarios and backgrounds with a text based hook in the ad, mostly offering a solution to their target audiences' pain points. The second style has 2 formats which are the least used image ads, these formats are somewhat similar to ours labelling the products benifits or showing a comparative before and after. And another question which I had was how much of audience determining factor lies in the (heading)adcopy and the info or text in the ad itself, as the competitors seem to be using almost the same adcopy for ALL of their ads no matter the product, format or style. Thanks again for reading all that!
Hi bro, just came across your account somehow. I’m a gardener and delivery driver - desperately want to get out of my jobs; is there any advice you can offer @ where I can start. I feel like I just missed out on the drop-shipping phase.
@@ecomjoe W response -- Thomas, if you missed it, Joe uploaded a video dedicated to you talking about getting in to e-commerce today. Make sure you check it out!
Yessir! Super glad you found me as well! I’ve been inspired by lots of the people it looks like you’re subscribed to as well so serious so pumped that this resonates!
Dude you re the king of marketing you did 100mill yet you got 100 subs????? Somethinf is off. How you gonna teach me marketing while you can't market yourself? I am puzzled.
Love that! That's what I'm here for! Make sure to join my newsletter in the description so you have my email address and can directly ask me any questions you have about starting and growing your digital marketing career and you never miss another video!
Heyy man really appreciate the encouragement considering that I’m an introvert taking marketing too!! And you have mentioned that ur superpower is design which I’m also interested in, but I wondered how you shifted yourself to do design in marketing since they are mostly done by graphic designers per se and for me without any designing experience or degree what exactly is the role that deal with both design and marketing if any ?
Great question. I don’t know if there is a role specific for marketing & design, but I personally learned both from RU-vid and many many hours of practice. You can do the same! Degrees are great, but often the information is outdated and to apply the information in a real world setting takes a similar amount of time as you’ll need to spend practicing. So as you know on my channel I’m all about being self taught so this information is a bit biased coming from me!
Hi Joe, I'm Cyrys from Indonesia. I love the video and yes I agree with you.. I'm currently learning digital marketing by my self and I have to ask you, do you have any tips on how I should learn my skill sets for the many platforms before I take on a digital marketing job?
Thank You Sir ...... for Your Guidance.... Building Personel Branding...... & Can You Make Videos On Leads Generation Funnels & affordable Pricing Of Funnels........#thankYousir
Love the calm, assured delivery. That's what really made me want to check out your other videos and subscribe. I have a question: do you think there is any specialization in digital marketing for people that might not consider themselves innovative/creative? I'm looking to move into the field because I believe I'm good at visuals and writing, but I tend to colour within the lines...
This is a great question! I'll make a video on this in the coming weeks to help you . In the meantime I'd say email marketing would be a great career path for you. It's pretty predictable and you can use your visuals and writing chops to be successful here with subject lines & body copy (writing) mixed with email design (visuals)
Love hearing this! Let me know if I can help you in anyway! I used to do a bit of front end work myself. Then made the decision to go down the marketing route because I saw so much dev work being shipped overseas for much cheaper and it felt like a race to the bottom in terms of pay.
@@ecomjoe i agree but i feel that devs get payed better than DM, but the work is not fun and gets mundane. Some people enjoy coding but idk its not my cup of tea. I am looking for more of a techno functional role that's where i stumbled upon DM and i am contemplating where to pursue it or not...even ui/ux design field looks good.
@@joshfernandez8475 Ya I think UI/UX would be a great natural next step for you. I have a close friend in that field who makes $100k+ / year and gets to work on alot of interesting projects. I think you going into marketing may waste some of your skills in the dev area. But UI/UX would be complimentary and make you more of an asset in the field. Best of luck!
@@ecomjoe it spoke directly to me who is a major introvert. I never saw being an introvert as a super power 👊🏽. I’m a new entrepreneur and needed a confidence boost. There is a place for us too!
Agreed! I watched a lot of those videos about people changing their life with coding which made me want to make videos that show people it’s possible with marketing too!
@@ecomjoe Ah, I've moved on to my greener pastures in copywriting. I wasn't a digital marketer per se, I just interviewed other marketers in the field.
