Elvis doesn't match up with Jones bu any metric. Tom is pure dynamite live. He NEVER disappoints. Presley by comparison has had some truly geriatric looking performances where he looks like he's just dialing it in. And lets not even get into vocal prowess. Jones totally dominates.

@@idamcneal9382 Everybody loves Elvis and I guess you probably know they were best of friends. I’ve watched them both closely for decades and Tom Jones has an energy that cannot be matched. If ever there was music “IN” anybody, it is Tom. Tom’s dancing makes Elvis look like a relative paraplegic. Tom’s voice is better and he puts everything into every performance all this just cannot be said about Elvis even though I do really like him.
