Saying Abu Taymmiyah won't recover from this is a dangerous statement. All guidance is given by Allah. We can't know who will be guided and who will be astray. Refutations are meant to expose the falsehood and differentiate lies from truth. We should be humble and not prideful in our work. Great scholars made numerous works in the field of refutation that videos such as this can't match, yet they did not claim to have "destroyed" someone. May Allah guide us all. Amin.
Cult like behavior and characteristics by Dawah Salafia. The truth of the matter is that he has the right to sit with and engage with any Muslim brother and it may be news to you but he does not need your permission. Someone who's job is to spread Dawah is going to deal with people of different beliefs and must deal with them in the right manner.In the case of Brother Uthman, he was dealing with a very prominent person in the subcontinent with tremendous followers so his approach was not incorrect for a first meeting. Think about it this way, how does one of your Saudi Scholars advise his King. Does he immediately criticize him and let him know where they differ? Or does he begin with pleasantries, thank him for his work and to show gratitude for the opportunity to meet? Does his pleasant manner justify every corrupt thing done by the King? If he praises the King publicly then will you say he is deceiving the people? I am framing it this way because this is your exact logic. May Allah guide us all to the straight path.
Not a clear refutation whatsoever ibn rajab al hanbali state that biddah is something which has no foundation in the deen whatsoever but gues what ya jahils rasuallah fasted on Mondays bcz of his birthday was on a Monday were not saying go and put lights up and dance and do dikhr in huge circles but to talk about rasullah and to show love for him in our hearts is a must the one who doesn't have love for rasullah cannot be a muslim
