SOOO, it all started on one of Bad's recent streams when he had made a house for the bunnies (the new guys in charge of taking care of the islanders, not the bear people anymore) because he wanted them to not take his house (due to being in debt to Cucurucho, which he paid off by singing Muffin to him and the Fed Workers). After bickering with the bunnies over if the house was a carrot or a pineapple or what not, the bunnies (three of them, Donny, Sipi and Ollie) decided to have dinner in the house, and Bad waited outside, talking with the ghosts for a bit. Suddenly, Bad heard noises coming from inside the house and realized the bunnies were dying. He ran inside to try to save them, but alas, he was too late, and all three of the bunnies died. At least, we THINK they died... and we're not exactly sure if they are alive or not. A few days later, Bad got a flashback in which we saw that the bunnies ate a strange fruit called a Ghost Berry, which put them into deep sleep, so deep they seemed dead. (and while Bobinho mentioned that he had removed the bodies to take them to the hospital, when Bad had shown him them an earlier day, they had turned into skeletons, so uh, yeah, we're not sure if they're alive or Bad ate them LMAO) Bobinho then asked Bad if he knew of anyone else who may have suffered the effect of deep sleep, and Bad mentioned the eggs hadn't woken up in a while. Bobinho may possibly have relayed this information to Cucurucho over phone or something, definitely not in person, because a few minutes later, Bad suddenly went crazy and murdered Bobinho, then forgot about it afterwards, so he possibly has an insane "demon mood" personality that he taps into when he's cornered (because he was interrogated by Bobinho about if he had killed/drugged the bunny trio). Anyway, a few days later, possibly a week later iirc, Cucurucho is given an egg of his own, Nacho, and after reluctantly adopting them, Cucurucho, along with some Fed Workers, go to the various homes in the new spawn and gather up all the eggs, their beds and their items, then take them to what seems to be a hospital facility, to try to cure them from their comas. They were all seen in the same large chamber at first, but now it seems the eggs have been separated into different smaller facilities around the island where research is being done on what their favorite items are, which only the parents (and close uncles/aunts, like Bad) would know what are, which is why they are still asleep and the potions needed to wake them up have not been made yet. In each of these facilities are the eggs' items (well some, apparently Chay didn't have his stuff there, but Lullah did), as well as barrels containing books, paper and the eggs' favorite things (poppies for Tallulah, potatoes and pumpkins for Chayanne), as well as a room with a single Ghost Berry Flower, which is used for the antidote. Oh yeah, the day before (or the day before before) Bobinho was murdered by Bad, Bad did find a Ghost Berry Flower outside the carrot house he had made for the bunnies, but after he did a run around the house, the plant had vanished, and after another round, there was a soul torch, after which Mr. Reaper laughed in the sky (an old friend of Bad's, maybe, we still don't know much or anything about Mr./Sir Reaper). Bad was then guided by the blue ghosties to a spot where he dug down and found a Toxic Cave, in which there was a small construction area that had an isolated room with another Ghost Berry Flower inside. Both of the plants Bad found did not have a berry on them, but the ones in the egg facilities do. So the Ghost Berry was teased/introduced in Bad's streams, but Philza was the first one to discover the use for turning the berry into medicine to save the eggs, as well as being the first person to discover the posters at spawn and even discover the riddle on the bakery poster (and I'm fairly certain the day he got on and rescued his eggs was the first day those posters had been implemented, coz Bad logs in every day and checks spawn every day for something new). I'm not sure why the Feds wouldn't share this information with the islanders since the baker implied the information was secret, but we may find out as more eggs get rescued. TLDR; The Federation noticed the eggs weren't waking up and took the eggs to find out what's wrong and try to cure them, but for some reason don't want the islanders to interfere, but an informant thinks the parents should go save them. The medicine is made with the thing that put the eggs to sleep, plus their favorite item, so each egg gets specialized medicine.
