Struck capacity should be 68.6 cubic yards. Close to 50 cubic meters. It holds quite a bit, it gets pretty heavy, having 3 axles is a good thing on our compaction prone clay loam soil.
This will be our 5th season without conditioners and I see no need for them in haylage. It maybe takes around 2 or 3 hours longer for the crop to dry depending on conditions, but we always chop the next day anyway. We save fuel,, less weight and cheaper mowers. The tractor has no problems running those mowers at 12 MPH. Couple years ago I ran the same mowers with a JD 7930 and it had it pretty easy. I have ran similar mowers (slightly narrower) with conditioners and it was too much for a 7930.
