Lisa: loved this older video but my Canvas extension color option is featured but not available. How do I activate this feature? I am using PS version 22.4.3
I use this video over and over as being an older person it doesn't stay in my memory completely, but it is the one video that I find the most useful. Thank you so much
This is a great video, made making borders easy. My only problem was that I could create a text box and select colors but it would not let me type in any letters.. Any suggestions?? Thanks
Hello, thx for the detailed explanation. Just wondering, how do you draw an inside thin border line without expanding or distracting the photo or canvas. Joust plain white line offset 1 inch from the edges. Thx
Lisa, thank you for this beautifully created Christmas gift! It's on my desktop now, so I can begin the day with it. I'm in great admiration for overcoming your illness with not only grace, but ongoing creativity during those months you were engaged in the fight of your life. Best wishes for a wonderful 2021!
Hi Lisa, here's another way to add matte boards and frames to PS images. These are all free for anyone to use. isacimages.com.au/DownloadPage/downloadpage_1.html Item 2/Page 1. Have fun!
Great tutorial! If you were creating different sizes to sell do you have an easy way to crop with the borders on to different sizes? After you add the border to the 4x6 picture it is not a normal frame size any longer though, correct?
So this was from 2014 but I just ran into this as I am learning different things about Photoshop. Very cool, I really like the texture technic and will use it a lot. Thank you for this video!
This has been a huge help, Thankyou!! I’m trying to fix a flying crow photo where the last quarter of his tail has been chopped. I have a perfect image to get the rest of the tail from.. would you be willing to help me please? I would donate a little for your time and expertise.
Niki Kostevc hi and I am so glad the video is helpful! I am happy to try to help you but I don’t get back from leading workshops until July 8. We would have to set up a time for consultation after that. Would that work for you? My rates and info are at www.langellphotography.com/Events-1 and have a beautiful day!!!
DJ Russell you may have to flatten the image and then duplicate the layer. Then go to Layer->Layer style-> Bevel & Emboss and choose bevel. That should work for you.
I don't understand how it is applying the beveling affect to the photo inside the frames. I am getting beveling on the outer, larger frame, not the inside photo. How do you get it to bevel the original photo?
Margaret Grace hello! Sorry I didn’t see this until today! I think what could be happening is that you may have not applied the bevel to the top layer. Try looking at which layer was selected when you applied the bevel. It should be the top one. Let me know if that works !
thanks for your fab video! But, no matter what I seem to do, even if I select background layer the canvas colour extension is always greyed out, I am new to Photoshop by the way! :) CS6
Most beautiful, an artist in touch with the soul of life. One shall endeavour to emulate your work with one's own humble offerings of insight from my world view here in the UK
Awww... thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much, Mark, for the kind words! That means a lot. There are others if you liked this one :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-45-kuc1-as8.html for example. Hugs and thank you so much!!!
