I did build the first version of Zoraline for myself and now saw your video, I really didn't consider some cards you mentioned - it's great that you mention cycling or channel, solitary confinement is also great. Personally, partially to cards, I had partially to the fact that I wanted to avoid making a sacrifice deck I went for life gain and devotion to play both Heliod and Erebos in their constellation art playing to some of that cosmos caller theme ;) Again thank you for making the video
Chulane, Teller of Tales feels like the best way to build this deck. First Knight activation for me is normally Avacyn’s Memorial- makes sure everything else sticks 😅 For my 2nd activation, I grab Planar Bridge. Use Portal for Sigarda, Font of Blessings. All of my Permanents have Hexproof, and all my legendaries are indestructible. 3rd Templar activation normally ends the game: put Thrumming Stone into play. Opponents can’t really interact through the hexproof+indestructible. Chulane, Teller of Tales draws a card from each Thrumming Trigger. Normally closes games with insane gusto turns 6-8 (as long as your Knights stick LOL)
I'm not sure Hum of the Radix works as a hate piece here unless the opponent is playing an artifact deck. Ygra doesn't turn the creatures into artifacts until they hit the field.

So I'm looking to build this I'm struggling to find a way to give it a pure win focus, yeah we are -1s and board wiping but what would be our method to winning 🤔
My friend couldn’t get his DND deck to work and I tried it and was the threat even after two bored wipes. Don’t blame the deck, blame the opponents. Lmao
only problem im thinking is it will never be competitive as making everything into a food artifact.... just makes docside extortionist INSANE and ur not in red so you cant play it urself. i dont play cedh tho but little things like that turn me off. made the deck as my current golgari one suckeeeddd so i pulled it apart. feels like a good commander and is fun and interesting for the whole board
Rashmi, Eternities Crafter Simic Control Combo. Infinite mana engine through Peregrine Drake, Eternal Witness, and Ghostly Flicker (or all its alternates), then infinite recursion with Panharmonicon or the other witness creatures, then Saheeli's Artistry to make infinite creatures, then counterspell my own Artistry and awaken a land with Scatter to the Winds, then Shifting Loyalties to exchange control of my land creature for your lands and back for my tokens, effectively switching all of everyone else's lands for my token creatures. Then Disperse the token creatures away. The deck can take control of every kind of permanent and counter every non-uncounterable spell. And even if it can't be countered, I can still take it away from you :P.
My goofiest combo deck is probably Scute Swarm + Croaking Counterpart + Jyoti, Moag Ancient. Ik they might not be standard legal but it's really funny to play with friends and have 300 scute swarms in 5 turns once it starts.
