Wowwww! The Trivandrum I'm seeing after 30 long years is not the city that I'd left behind! It has changed so dramatically! I could recognise a few landmarks like 'Sreekumar' and 'SriVishak' theatres. I saw movie posters stuck on the wall! Are the theatres still functioning?

yes it's definitely safe, you will have cab drivers outside the Pipariya Railway Station. The fare will be little costly at night time. But it will be totally safe if you go in shared cab.
