My app does not work. When I get to where I would enter my stream key and URL I am met with "Something went wrong, please try again." before I even enter the key and url. I did so anyway and nothing of course happened. I met with IT and we made sure that I had streaming permissions enabled, which I did. Not sure what the issue might be.
Why does it ask you to confirm if it can’t do it in the first place? This is just stupid and really distracting at this point. Just say, “sorry I can’t let you do that Steve” But I guess Stanley Kubrick has that sentence Copyrighted 🤦🏾♂️
This was definitely the route I wanted to take was getting something like the R710 or even the T-series if I don't want to buy a rack. I think the hardest part is honestly figuring out how to start and where to start when it comes to labing. Also I don't want to super heat my house so I'm also thinking of seeing if my ISP would run a line to my garage and I could place a rack in there.
Has anyone else gotten this to work? Despite the policy being enabled, even a week later we still get the error saying, "You don't have streaming permissions..." in the "Custom Streaming" tab that has been added to the meeting.
Don't forget the on-premise app/infra that uses the last exchange hybrid server as a SMTP relay. So is it that easy to remove the last exchange hybrid server? That is not a simple yes....
They will need MS Teams Walkie Talkie button to activate it (similar to the Certified headsets for MS Teams Walkie Talkie) and then have those buttons attach to motorbikes. Pair that button up to the phone, and then motorcycle groups can then join a group and use that on their rides!
Only problem is, is that the frame rate on a screen share is still rubbish in Teams unless theres a lot of movement on the screen. Have you found any way around that... without putting a load of moving objects on screen?
I enabled LIve Streaming mode for Global policy but got err while adding customised streaming app "You don't have streaming permissions. Please contact your IT administrator or the organizer to stream this content" I am using Mocrosoft 365 Business Standard license,
As of today, MS allowing customers who put in a request to extend basic auth until Jan 1, 2023. You must put in a request via your tenant otherwise it will be turned off on Oct 1, 2022
have few followup questions: basic defaults such as username and passwords are not often changed, but tokens used for OAUTH2.0(advanced authentication) has certain expiry period. For existing big customers, reconfiguring apps every now and then due to expired tokens is troublesome and not having good user experience. any thoughts on that
I know we implemented MFA on a hybrid environment. There is issues with a log in loop for the desktop app. Thinking it has to do with the cached profiles. Anyways good talk.
When it comes to media usage like teams coupled with homeworking, a lot of the complication can be side stepped by just using teams via a browser or local install. Everything else via thin client but browser for that one use.
ditto on my side Ronni. Steve.. thoughts? I've gone to the back end App Permission policies and dont see any block. must be something simple that is not allowing this to take place.
Nice video. I've enabled the policy but after 3-4 hours, I still get "You don't have streaming permissions. Please contact your IT administrator or the organizer to stream this content" in the custom Streaming app.... I'll go to sleep and try again tomorrow.
Did you ever resolve this? We have enabled the policy a week ago and still get the "You don't have streaming permissions" error (after very briefly showing the fields for Streaming Server and Key.)
