@@GulfCoastalConnectionsmapache - I added Café Pontalba to my list of places to try based on your video. Their menu looks awesome. Greetings from Colorado!
The mascot race was the dots. The old electronic dot races that were played on the jumbotrons was started by the Rangers Stadium Announcer Chuck Morgan in 1986 at old Arlington stadium. Chuck Morgan is still the Rangers stadium announcer. Fun fact he got his start on the show Hee Haw.
I love me some gumbo! Thanks for highlighting these different places to try some out. And I plan on trying out your recipe for myself. I had no idea about the lava!! 🌋
There are some amazing restaurants in Progreso Mexico. I wish I had more time to explore them. I did get to try Los Mariscos de Chichi El Sabor Del Mar. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I hope to return to Progreso very soon to try some more.
We were on Valor 2 weeks ago and went to Costa Mya and Coz! Had a great time and really enjoyed the ship! Valor is an older ship and shows it's age, but has been kept in great shape and looks just fine...trust me....I am picky! I would sail her again! Great video, thanks for sharing!!!
1. Top saving tip for this place. Look at days in the future throughout the month to find the premier hotels for cheap. One room can sleep up to 4 people. I payed $242 for Loews Royal pacific and got 4 express pass unlimited. If ur party can split the $242 4 ways or even just 2 ways you would only pay $60 each for the hotel room so in reality u only spend $60 for a unlimited express pas and early park admission and transportation to the park! Even if u split the room by 2 only $121 each. Don’t be fooled into just by expresses when u can get in early ur closest to the parks and don’t have to walk all the way from the garage to the parks and u will get on hagrids with a super short wait time! Plus be able to skip all the lines while staying in a luxary hotel. And u also get priority seating at restaurants.
That’s great advice. I have stayed at The Hard Rock a few times and I loved that place. As you pointed out you get unlimited Express Pass when you stay at premier hotels and that takes your day at the parks to a whole new level. I guess it comes down to flexibility in planning your stay.
I bought a freestyle cup which I justified as a souvenir but on the second day only used it for free water. So I was still able to use the pretty cool looking cup without need to reload it.
I really love Mike. He is just so beautiful. Being Native American I would certainly be interested in the Indian mounds. I live on the Westbank of New Orleans. Its about an hour or so from Baton Rouge. We do plan on going around my Birthday in early February. See you soon beautiful Mike. ❤🐅
Good question. I recommend you try them all and make up your own mind. If I had to only choose one it would have to be Loretta’s in the French Market. I’ve probably been to Aunt Sally’s the most and it’s my go to confectioner. Their Banana Foster praline is amazing.
@@GulfCoastalConnectionsmapache I thought Loretta's praline beignet was too sweet (in NOLA, imagine that!). I went through there twice around x-mas, but it seemed like everyone (who makes them in-store) was closed at the time.
@@GulfCoastalConnectionsmapache I had to grab some Aunt Sally's from Royal Street since they were open, but I really like any of them where they're making them in-store in the big copper pot. I guess I'd go with Southern Candymakers since that's the last one I remember visiting.
Okay so of course when we come I must stop by Leah’s!!!! 👏🥳 and those Aunt Sally’s with a million pecans loaded on top are gonna have to come home with me …can’t wait to stop at ALL of these❣️ thank you SO much🤩👌🏻
I will stop in at these places next time I drive through there! I had no idea, hahaha! I always drive to Ennis for kolaches -- apricot cream cheese is my favie but everything in that bakery case shown here looked mighty mighty DELISH!! YUMMM-O!!
oooh thank you for sharing all of THE best places to stop at...I can not wait to get my hands on some of Billy's cracklins!!!! ...my mouth is watering now hahahaha
The bread, duh! 🥖 There's a certain saying that goes: "If it ain't made with Leidenheimer, it ain't a poboy"! (Leidenheimer French bread, made in New Orleans.) ⚜️
LSU ended the practice of bringing a live tiger into the stadium with the arrival of Mike VII in 2017. You can see him in his state of the art Tiger Habitat right across the street from the stadium.
