Hi Joe, just heard you as a guest on Miss Indepodcast, so I'm looking forward to your content. Not sure you heard about her inaugural performance of this album at the Belasco, but she tried to restart this song twice in order to keep from crying while she sang. I cried through the whole song. Greatest night of my life - I cried and cheered and cried and cheered. Thanks for sharing your reactions.
That little girl was Margaret O'Brien, who got her parts BECAUSE of her ability to cry on screen. The best non-Judy version was done by Chrissey Hine of the Pretenders.

I first came across you when you were reacting to Kelly Clarkson's Chemistry. I have watched a lot of reaction videos and very often the person reacting would occasionally sing along. You were the only one that I didn't mind listening to. You have such a great voice, and it's exciting for me to hear you sing a whole song😊. Wonderful job covering this song. I hope you are well.
This song for me reminds me of a relationship I had with someone who is no longer on this plain of existence, because we were each other's lighthouse. We would check in to make sure either one was "okay". When I found out that this person had passed I was not and I couldn't call and speak to them or hear their voice anymore. Sorry to rant, but just wanted to let someone know that it's ok not to be ok!
I love this album. It is truly spectacular. There's a song on this album that I really love called Toxic. My friends never have heard of it, and I was so excited to show them it! I love Britney Spears, she reminds me of my favorite artist Lorde. Touch of My Hand is a highlight. Have a good day!
True - OMG is almost the only thin one can say.. She can slow this demanding melody down as much as she likes, and still she masters it 100 % perfect. She is second to none.
I’ve loved Cher since I was a little girl watching Sonny & Cher. I love her music & movies (she deserved her Moonstruck Oscar!) & I agree that amazing Dianne Warren song from Burlesque is her very best. I saw an interview with her when the movie was out and she didn’t want to do the song because she thought it required more vocal range then she had. Her long time friend Dianne convinced Cher she’d been short changing herself for years and that she wouldn’t have written it if she wasn’t sure Cher would nail it. She said she worked harder than she ever had and nail it she did! So much so that Xtina tried to get it cut out of the movie without success. That made the Oscar nomination even sweeter.
