So what is going on in this field? The N loss between the tiles due to excessive rain? Could this be seen earlier at around V10-V12? Wonder if a rescue treatment with a sprayer and either drop pipes or a tool bar could have saved yield?
Hi, This field is a little wet to start with, and yes we received a pile of rain. No doubt a rescue treatment with nitrogen and maybe some sulfur and boron would have been a great idea. Problem is we didn't fly the field with the drone until it was brown silk stage and lost our opportunity. Next year we will fly it much earlier, because yes you can see these patterns real early in fields, easily by V10 most f the time by V6 or V7. Thanks for the note, Larry
