Hi, nice tones;-) I'm planning on possibly buying the 60s S-Style SNB. What can you say about the setup out of the box? Any sharp edges at the frets or maybe dead spots? Thanks
Before I recorded the videos I didn't do any changes to the setup. The playability was very good right out of the box. There are no sharp edges at the frets. Nothing to complain about.
I think it is good guitar not only for a beginner because it's easy to play and the sound is versatile. It won't be a waste of money because I'm sure that you'll keep it for a long time. But you might think about if you wanna spend about 130 € more for the Relic finish or if one of the Classic series would be ok too. If you have the chance to compare both series in a shop, do it. ... and you should keep in mind that it has a nitro finish. Not every guitar stand is good for that kind of finish.
The cable to the left is just the connection to the power supply. The next one is a MIDI cable with DIN 5-pin connectors which connects the MB33 to the Beatstep. The cable to the right is an instrument cable with 6.3mm mono jacks which goes to a Yamaha AG 03 mixing console.
If you like relic guitars, it's the cheapest one I found by now in a good quality, with a versatile sound and an easy playability. It has a nitro finish, something you usually don't find in that price range.
A kaossilator 2S has only a socket for an external mic, nothing to syncronize it to another kaossilator. But you can finalize a loop and use it in a DAW.
