American Gold Prospectors is a gold prospecting RU-vid show. The main part of the show is filming/interviewing prospectors. Usually the show starts out with the prospector in action using their equipment. Then I will have the prospector explain their equipment and how it works, why they like/dislike their equipment etc...Then the second half of the show I usually show my gold prospecting adventures.
There is one thing I see you've been doing all along, and that is that when you see a particle you start picking it up with tweezers. You have to put in a good sluice and trust that it will catch all the gold. As for the cold, you could put in a vacuum tube solar collector with a 100-litre water heater and a thermostatic mixer to keep the temperature at a pleasant 30 degrees. Then modify the suit to have a hot water inlet and a cold water outlet that will return to the heater. Of course, that means you'll need to carry two reinforced hoses with an internal diameter of 3/8" and about 40 meters or more in length to be able to reach the work area. And I don't know to what extent it's feasible for a single person. Anyway, the best thing might be a dry suit and thermal clothing to keep warm. I'll leave that for whoever wants to choose the best option. Greetings from Catalonia.
Very good nuggets, even though the suction system does not have all the power that it should, you have been able to find good pieces I like to see that I'm not the only crazy person who spends 20 days or more in the middle of nowhere to practice the sport of searching for gold in rivers. Hehehehe. Greetings from Catalonia.

That was a great time! Got my dredge ready for next season.. all except the staying warm part.. im hoping to build a heater this winter. If ya have any advice as to tube size etc.. anything youd change from your old design fire extinguisher?
My friends and I really enjoyed the video. We did some searching online and made some calls, but are stumped by this question: How hard is it to get an all terrain vehicle for the summer, and how much will it cost?
SCUBA instructor here. Follow all navy dive tables when doing any diving. Under 10 meters you have 3 hours before going into decompression sickness (DCS). After an hour on the surface you can do another 2 hour dive but then you are done for the day. If you exceed those limits, you ARE going into DCS. Not maybe. Not could be. You are. Remember - you can’t change physics. If you want to know why a lot of the gold dredgers in Nome have short tempers and health issues, DCS is probably why. Again - you can’t change physics. So laugh as you walk away very quickly from anyone who tells you diving beyond navy dive table limits is safe.
