Your not concentrating on a draw drive,to do that don't think power, think club face on down swing not opening and closing or going left to right, slow backswing, controlled downswing, aim just before the ball, perfect club face connect on the ball, arm lock, club face twisted up to get a wrist lock, left foot opened a bit,and a bit of a iron pump aiming just before the ball, try it then get back to me,you got to master it,also all your muscles needs perfect positioning, feet, core, elbows, shoulders, head positioning and all other muscles like legs to get perfect balance, also the grip on the club needs to be perfect, not to tight not to loose.
Bryson stunk in this mismatch. Fleetwood was not at his best, but Bryson was at his worst. He couldn't hit a wedge or make a putt. That said, he's improved a lot for 2024. He's finding more fairways with his driver, hitting much more accurate wedges, and judging greens far better. It's a bit of a joke, but it wouldn't bring a laugh if it weren't true: Bryson was more accurate with his driver against Fleetwood than he was with his wedges or his putter. He just smelled like he played.
So what Bryson did at the Masters was not credible? LIV is hardly a "micky mouse" tournament association. Saying that is pretty disrespectful to the talent that plays on the LIV circuit. Bryson is ranked 110 in the world so don't let jealousy determine your respect for another man.
I guess I don’t actually mind Bryson, I just figured out that its the commentators that make him so unlikeable with their stupid remarks about him “calculating” and applying all this “science”. If it worked that well he’d win more; shut up about it.
@48:41 Feherty says “its a little ironic that the best shot tiger ever hit it was behind that same tree” (tigers was from bunker.) You can tell tiger was thinking that exact thing walking up to the green
It’s a game of inches. Tiger had an insane amount of putts just burn the edge and some putts the broadcasters couldn’t believe that either stayed straight or broke on him. He also hit some incredible shots where he just had the wrong number and couldn’t figure out the wind. Just truly shows that sometimes all the stars have to align to win a major
2009 pga was the start of his downfalls karma caught to him on that day never saw his putter be that cold so weird to see him miss putts like the ones he was missing
This was 2009, but then he won 3x in 2012 and 5x in 2013, then won the Tour Championship in 2018 and the Masters AGAIN in 2019, so karma gave Tiger a mulligan lol.
Wow, I didn't know the scandal broke just 3 months after this! For some reason I thought they were more apart in time. Yes, after scandal broke TW was never ever the same again. He lost confidence, swagger and clutch.
I doubt it. He could have paid the chick off. He actually had been paying people to be quiet or did favors like show up on a publications magazine cover and got people to remain quiet in return for years
I remember this day like it was yesterday. The only time In history we saw his putter go cold on a Sunday Major. It was the weirdest thing to watch. You kept waiting for a putt to drop every hole but by the time you knew it - it was the 18th hole and YE Yang hoisted the trophy
I was quite young when this was played and can’t remember but I can only imagine how crazy this was to watch live, due to the fact Tiger has never lost the lead in the major and YE Yang was the one that beat him. Sometimes I wonder if this affected Tiger for the rest of his career but no one knows.
It had never occurred when he was leading a major going into the final round but he's had some bad performances in majors prior, not even cracking the T10. I don't remember which year this was but he scored an 80 at the british open, I believe 2007
The only man in Earth's 🌎 history to hold all 4 majors at once; Tiger Woods beat 550 other players to win all four majors, Tiger went 550 - 0; and to boot he won The Players Championship that year also and that's an additional 145 players that he beat, which means he went 695 - 0 in that run; Tiger owns the course record and not only at Augusta; he's a phenom. Some people talk about Jack Nicholas 18 majors as if Tiger can't be the greatest player ever but that's a mirage, as great as Jack Nicholson was, so was Bill Russell with 11 championships; but Michael Jordan is considered to be the Goat 🐐, because he did it with the world watching, and by elevating the sport; Tiger has done it with the pressure to do it, and with the expectation of doing it, with the world watching, and by elevating his sport, and by elevating everyone's salary around him with bigger purses, all of the players and Golf benefited because of Tiger! That's incomparable. Tiger won at the Masters with a fused back, I don't think Jack Nicholson has ever done that, nor has he held all four majors at once for his greatness; Tiger Woods beat the field handicapped; Tiger Woods is one with the golf ball; Tiger Woods is golf! ⛳
I feel like Dechambeau could be unstoppable if only he worked on his short game. This match was the difference in short game alone. Even with Fleetwood putting two in a row into the water, he has the match in the bag early in it seemed. Fleetwood is twice the short gamer that Dechambeau is in this match. I feel like Dechambeau is more concerned with breaking his long carry records, his club head speed records and all that. Someone should tell him that Fleetwoods drives here were as effective if not more so and that if only he really did have his short game honed, he could be one of the greatest.
