Boise is great People is very nice Weather is great Hospital are amazing personally great experiences with great doctors Schools are great they don’t teach crazy ideologies like others states ! Teens are more safe From drugs and alcohol compare to Az where I was living for 20 years
Folks Boise is not Idaho. The real Idaho is outside Boise. Yes we have winters snow storms, yes casinos , and yes normal Idahoans live outside Boise Idaho.
I assume Rachel doesn't do laundry. Having the rod / coat hangers above the washer / dryer is a must. When you take shirts, pants, etc . out of the dryer you can hang them up (No wrinkles). Then just transfer them to the appropriate closet.
These homes and the area are beautiful. I hope one day I can head there. It seems like HOAs are everywhere, but if it has one that covers excessive noise from neighbors, I'd be more than happy to live with it.
Great video, but have an issue with the "his image" analogy. There are different beliefs in Boise area from different religions there. Are you aware that we all start out female in womb? as a female you should know that;)
Thank you for your comment! When I referred to being made in 'His image,' I was speaking from a Biblical worldview. God teaches that both male and female were created in His image (Genesis 1:27). This isn't about physical characteristics but rather the inherent value, dignity, and purpose that every human being has because of our Creator. As for the biological aspect, yes, it's true that early in development, we all share similarities, but I see that as further evidence of the complexity and wonder of God's design. Regardless of our sex, male or female, we each have a unique role to play in His creation, and that's something we can all celebrate. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts!
@@livinginidaho6750 People in that area need to use their energies to make it a more safer environment for women there and a future where they own their own bodies like grown adults. Not have law or religion tell them what to do with their bodies. By the way, I wasnt attack you in my first comment. Its hard to tell inflection online. I just have an issue with most realtors there that Ive spoken to who all seem to be very religious that seem to think that anyone moving to Idaho is religious. or Mormon.
You're totally full of it! You're just making RU-vid videos to make money for yourself. That's a disgusting way of life. I've lived in Boise, Meridian my father's lived in Eagle and all over that area. It's a horrible place to live. The traffic is worse in Boise than it is in LA it's just the freeways are shorter. If you go to the Boise area you're as stupid as a rock!
As a Californian I’m cracking up listening to this!!! Ca is a big state! You go to downtown LA. Yes it’s gross and dangerous spots things locked up. You head to a diff area it can be small town clean as be
There are most definitely racist, and homophobic people all over Idaho. They also do not like outsiders moving here. I went to school back east and my children’s education was lacking in many areas. Idaho is full of LDS people and depending on the community sometimes children do not make sports teams unless they belong to the church, say two kids are similar in talent if one child is LDS and the other child is not the non LDS child will be cut. Even if they are slightly better. HOA’s will make you get your house color approved and God forbid do not leave your trash can out overnight.
I really like Star based on research, visited last year in March to check out the greater Boise area. My personal opinion, a huge ceiling like that is a waste of space. It provides extra lighting but thats it. I rather have a room, game area, storage etc. otherwise I like that space of the home though! Dont care for a gate, and dislike a HOA. My current costco trip is about 12 minutes so 15 isnt bad. Love the community pond and activities. How is the allergy season? I get bad allergies from grass, flowers around March-May or so. How long did the smoke stay around for? thanks for the informative video!
Builders are offering incentives because interest rates are still high and they are rolling over their debt leverage into very bad conditions. Boise and the surrounding areas are no longer hotspots for migration. If that new builder, who is less well known, goes bankrupt (which is highly likely over the next 4-6 months), all of those houses are going to lose 30-60% of their values and you'll be in an unfinished neighborhood that may take a decade or more for some other builder to come along and complete. This has already happened between 2008-2012 in Meridian. If you're going to live there for 10 years minimum, and the builders are offering 3.99% mortgage rates or lower fixed 30 years, I could see it being worth it assuming the home quality is "good". That being said, even with mortgage rates coming down right now, and builders incentives, it would be very unwise to buy right now. Recession + high interest rates + Sketchy'ish new builders and uncompleted neighborhoods = very risky time to buy. Better to wait and see.
@@nathanvonderharr2847 I dont want a HOA based on constant price increases like in CA. some friends are paying hundreds a month, its crazy. But if its a must, 68$ is reasonable as long as they dont raise them constantly and actually provide something, actually maintain the area.
Is Boise right for you? She is 100% correct 0:25 If you watch news on your TV, then Idaho is not for you. If you watch Tucker, Redacted and align with Trump or RFK jr. then Idaho is for you.
If I win the mega millions lottery I’ll definitely be relocating to Boise! I’ll buy an existing house if it meets my requirements; or I’ll buy a few acres of land to have a custom home builder build my house that will be built of large cut stones and large bricks and I’ll buy a condominium in the downtown area for me!
Just remember if you come here clean up after yourself! You take it in you take it out!!! We’ve had newbies destroying our campgrounds. Which in turn is causing fees! We’ve never had to deal with this ! When in Rome! Stop trying to make Idaho where you left! You left for a reason! I don’t want my home like your past !
My wife and I watched this and noticed Rachael has a perfect voice for this video but Addy needs to tone it down a lot. We realize he is closer to the mic, but he is too loud, attempting to sound cool and walking too fast for Rachel. Aside from that, we love Nampa and enjoy living in the Lake Lowell area. Thanks for the video and your coverage of Nampa.
Thank you for mentioning the California stigma, and explaining it in a way where California refugees are not some kind of invader. That’s where I’m coming from some day, and I want to go to an area like this because it’s in line with my own values, needs and demographics. There is absolutely no way I’d want to change anything about what Idaho is, and has to offer. If you’re moving to another state, I would hope the idea is that you appreciate it as is.
