Kinda makes sense that Racheal causes the storm and is like the reason Max awakes to time travel powers You get the vision before ever travelling time, a warning of whats to come. Then if you dont save chloe, Racheal just disapates or hangs around where she dies and so never can turn into the storm. Definetly feels like there is plot threads there, but Cut Content strikes again
I thought I was doing everything right, but in the end I got the worst ending which felt pretty unsatisfying and sad. Still love the game, but I wish they both could’ve stayed in Beaver Creek.
I loved Cassidy when playing LiS 2. She cared about Sean and Daniel while Finn wanted to use Daniel for his egoistic plans. When he proposed the heist I immediately started to hate Finn and let him know about it in the hospital scene. <3
I'm a bit too lazy to watch the entire video or read through all the comments right now, but: secret dialogue is in Max's nightmare in Polarized, specifically when she walks through the Blackwell halls. Since that particular sequence is backwards in time, they are only discernible by 'rewinding.' One of them is Samuel saying "poor girl, nobody should vanish like that." Alyssa says "bullies never change," and Evan says “you can’t even tell the difference between street photography and photojournalism.”
I like the Rachel theory that she caused the storm, it makes sense, seeing as if it is true she had powers and didn't know who really killed her until max found out, her anger in the afterlife caused her to wipe that town off the map, would have been Rachel's way of mercy to what's happened in that town behind the scenes

It’s either going to be another soulless attempt by a corporate behemoth to milk the IP dry, or we’ll get a sequel that rekindles the magic of Chloe and Max, like the first time we ever met them. That feeling we both know too well. My gut leans toward the latter, judging by the trailers-things are looking promising. This game is really truly amazing, but I feel like it gets overshadowed by the first one and doesn’t receive the love it deserves. This was a great iceberg to watch after playing the game for the first time.
Yeah, I hate Chloe. She's honestly just a punk jerk. I don't see any reason to romance her at all. And usually, I'm into the "I break the rules" kinda gal in video games. But Chloe? Nah... Just not my cup of tea. Warren is Better in my opinion. Even if he "stalked" her.
I’m SO VERY LATE TO THIS but here’s my opinion on Warren stalking max. *ME PERSONALLY* I don’t think he was exactly stalking her, hence when he asks max out in episode 2 he is standing near the window of her dorm, so he could easily just check if she were coming or not. Also max’s dorm window is facing the front of the dormitories ANYBODY can look. So I don’t think he really was just trying to see if she were coming so he could ask her out.
I actually think Rachel "controls" wind. The flames get bigger when there is more oxygen I guess? Bc before the wildfire startes and she screams the first thing you see is the wind blowing
11:25 "If you don't want kids, don't have kids." Karen did not intentionally have kids, at least the first time with Sean. If you snoop in her bag in the motel room in episode 4, you can find condoms, and Sean will think something along the lines of "At least she learned her lesson." This clearly implies that Sean's inception was not her intention, and having Daniel was probably Esteban's decision, as she was trying to go along with his normal family life at that time.
Warren seems like generally a rather good person, being nothing but positive and understanding towards Max, even though she clearly does not care for him as much as he does her. His near-obsessive level of interest in Max could be a sign of insecure attachment, which along with his violent outburst with Nathan, and his introverted awkwardness, could possibly be possible signs of childhood trauma.

I knew im 2 years late but I just wanted to say, one, I loved this video and thank you so much for taking the time to do a deep dive into all this, two, would you ever consider making a short video or mentioning the Easter egg in LiS: BTS, where in Chloe’s dream sequence, you can open her journal and see a picture of 18 year old max hanging. I find this interesting because Chloe was 15-16 at the time, yet she drew max in the attire she had on when they first met in LiS1, how did she know what max looked like/ what clothes she wore if she was 15-16 and hasn’t seen max ever since she left for Seattle?
I don't see why the "nostalgic feel" is included in an Iceberg video or graphic. I mean, they don't hide it and it's no secret that this game is supposed to make you feel nostalgic. However, what I always found weird about the "nostalgic factor" of the game is the time it plays in and the statements of the developers that it should been a kind of time machine "back to two years ago" (from a 2015's perspective). Which is weird, because everything in the game is actually more reminicent of the mid to late 2000s, especially the time in which the emo-aesthetic broke into main stream and the emergence of the first consumer level digital SLRS at around 2006 and the evolution into the lumberjack-and-sailor-hipster-era of the 2010s - which is luckily finally over. I don't see at all how this game is supposed to resemble America in 2013 except for the music, which is hyper-hipster new age folk inspired. Love the game, but this always threw me off.
30:30 one of the creepiest thing about Max' nightmare is that at a certain point Warren says something to the effect of how he has often imagined what he would do to her if they were in the Dark Room together.

I'll never understand why this game didn't add a 3rd ending choice to sacrifice yourself to save chloe Instead she could pop out like before not rewind and nathan panics and shoots her It could've worked all the same
