Gold City I love your singing! I was a Bass in quartet years ago and pastored. My one rule as pastor with visiting singers was that they didn't sell anything in God's House. It was ok at the front door or in the fellowship hall. That kinda got me.

Chris Jenkins has an awesome strong voice that he almost doesn’t need a microphone. I watched a video back 2021 where the Kingsmen were singing at a church somewhere where he started a testimony and gave an altar call that so spiritual and sang Softly & Tenderly! Jeff Chapman is by far the best bass singer in southern gospel today that’s just my opinion’ I’m so glad he was able to join gold city quartet and carry on the legacy that Tim Riley has had all of these years with gold city may god bless each and every member of gold city .
Sorry, but this version of GC needs to hire someone to help with their on stage appearance. They look like they all slept in the clothes they are wearing and in need of a shave and haircut! Come on, at least look presentable when you hit the stage!

Personally I love the second half of Gold City than the first, don’t get me wrong the first half is great but I love the older songs that they do in the second half like in my robe of white, under control, when I get carried away, midnight cry etc… I love it! I got to sing with GC back on May 22nd and I get to sing with them again on August 20th!
