"Turtles Forever", did not star the original cast so Peter wasn't in it. Peter voiced one of my favorite characters before Master Splinter. Master Splinter is one of my favorites of his, but he also voiced Mandrake the Magician in "Defenders of the Earth". It was because of Defenders he was considered for Master Splinter. "Defenders of the Earth" brought some of the comic characters from the 1930's and 40's together. Think of it as "The Avengers" for that era. The Phantom, Flash Gordon, Lothar, and Mandrake, along with their kids (that's for the child viewers) to help save Earth from Ming the Merciless and his evil plans for the planet. The first time I heard Peter's voice come out of Mandrake's mouth, I knew they cast the perfect person for that role. I told him, in a letter, that as soon as I heard him, that the character was in good hands. It turned out that he, as a young child, also read "Mandrake the Magician" when it was in the newspapers back in the day. He considered that part an honor to play. Mandrake and Master Splinter will always have a special place in my heart thanks to Peter's voice. He was someone special. I wish I had met him in person, but what I have now is something I will always treasure for the rest of my life. Outside of voice acting, Peter was involved in live theater, playing in musicals such as "My Fair Lady" and "The Sound of Music". He would also take time out to talk to children, over the phone, who had cancer, using his Mickey Mouse and Master Splinter voices. From his colleagues, they would say that Peter was one of those rare human beings who was so generous, kind, and just a wonderful, down to earth person. RIP Mr. Peter Renaday. And break a leg as they say wherever you are!
My favorite quote; Season 8: Turtle Trek; "We all live in what we radiate. Therefore, doing good should be your primary purpose. Because the good you do for others will come back to you in abundance."
“We’re back, Master Splinter.” Turtles see Splinter on bed. Gasp “What happened to Splinter?!” Reference from Enter the fly episode. “Someone found him dead due to natural causes.” Leonardo says, “Master Splinter. No!” Reference from plan six from outer space S4 Ep1.
When I saw that flashback scene with the alligators being abandoned as babies, I honestly couldn't help but feel bad for them. I mean, seriously, those gators were just babies, how could any one of them have possibly eaten the neighbor's dog?
Hey RadioShacq . Awesome video pal. And I definitely choose Jason, Tyler and Zayto for having the best battlizers Connor is my second favorite one as well.
Sir I have to respectfully disagree with you. The 1987 TMNT theme should always number one. But if I have rank them. 1) 1987 tmnt theme. 2) TMNT theme 2003 3) rise of the TMNT theme 2018 4) 2012 TMNT theme. 5) TMNT red sky theme. 6) TMNT back to the sewers theme.
Hey, there´s a moment where Donnie is running away from the robot through the subway corridors and you can see a picture of a kid riding a bike with a pet on his shoulder. Below the picture there are candles, as if the kid died and the picture is some sort of memorial. Anyone knows if that is a reference to a real person? It seems kind of random if it isn´t.
Good find! I did not see that at first but could not find anything on it and double checked the credits just in case. Maybe someone will find something or it’ll be brought up again down the road 🤷🏽
