Forty plus years of gaming history. I have conscious memories of 30 of them. More if you count fragmentary visions of being a toddler experiencing Gauntlet on the NES, among other faded unplaced recollections of bright colored screens with bleeps and bloops.
I tend to think that in many ways gaming hit a kind of peak in the 90s and early 2000s before mass marketing successes drew clamps ever tighter around the sphere. Not to say I cannot appreciate modern games. That is also not to downplay the dedication of many out there that continue to create, support, and mod a vast repository of experiences unique to this modern world.
No real plan for this channel at this time other than sharing bits and pieces of potentially obscure games. In the future I wouldn't be opposed to tinkering out some sort of unique exposition done with more care and preparation.
Oh I agree totally. I've tried maybe 5 other large modlists and there have been things I like about them and things I don't. Fahluaan strikes a nice balance and has a good core philosophy. I've seen people praise Nolvus, and for my taste the approach to gameplay does not suit the Elder Scrolls. I like the weightiness of the blow of a mace in Fahluaan.
I had a 145 thez outside my base, as a low lvl .I climb on a rock and actually knocked him out. Couldn’t be any better. Being a low lvl I was using just berries lol. I was 100+ narcotics in and about an hour. He was 23% tamed. I pressed esc walked away for the night. Next morning I go to my pc and the game was in paused I had died lol sucked so had
Put a note into the description. Played ark mostly 2015-18. Getting back into it with ASA. Consequently, I forgot the damn key for it and panicked. >.< Was sure to check the keybinds after this, though.
Never have pteranodon on neutral. always passive. he cant fight anyway. if hes on passive you can mount and flee. and dont build in therizino spawn zone. they are way more stressful than a carno or raptors. if you are in such a situation. hold t to make him passive. then press t short for follow, run away and mount as you can. if he isnt passive, he will always attack the enemy, even when hes on follow
Thanks for the constructive info. Back into Ark for the first time seriously in about 5 years. A lot to remember and relearn. I spaced on all the keybinds but was sure to look them up after this. Also, yea. That base was just a pain in the ass in the end. Worse than Therizinos were Troodons...
I think this is one of the nicest ships I've seen! I love the silhouette. I love the little windows at rhe back. The first area and its side rooms feel very cozy, as does the room at the top of the ladder. 10/10
Hey, Thanks! This was the result of a good chunk of hours just getting the feel for the ship builder. I posted another vid that was an early prototype of my first Class B ship, but I unfortunately never recorded the final version of it which was much improved imo before starting NG+. I have a few other ships that I might make a quick overview of, but after over 200 hours of Starfield I've let it take a backseat in anticipation for further content and, most of all, mods. Had an absolute blast for literal days on end, though. Can't wait to see what's to come... Especially to enhance ship building!
Wanted it to feel grounded as an actually useful service ship, while offering enough comfort to ensure it could be a home away from home. I do admit, it can be hard to find the right balance.
Nah, there's plenty of prebuilt ships you can buy/hijack and then upgrade individual mechanical parts w/o having to go full Lego (Ie, click on the engines to update the engines, etc). I mostly use the prebuilts myself, as I'm also not very good at building things. But I'm being inspired with the cool designs, so I may delve deeper soonish.
Nice, practical ship design. Reminds me in some ways of research or navy vessels. Not sure about ladder for access ways but I guess it's less of an issue in zero G/low G.
I fly it all around. I can always think of something to do. I can hunt pirates and spacers for weapons and loot and reselling them being an arms trader. I have no where near exhausted story content that isnt simply procedural gen, and even those quests are a quick path to loot and a reward. Its all gamified childhood fantasies of what a sci-fi rpg game could be. Its not perfect, but I do find myself returning to my ship after a mission to store and place items in the hold and on board. I love landing on a planet and standing up from my cockpit to walk to the landing bay. It is a lot of fun. And in the future I can't even imagine how Starfield will mature.
Thank you. I believe it was Deimos. I actually ended up tweaking out a number of habs including that kitchen and the captain's cabin for Hopetech parts. They just feel really cozy. After that this ship hasn't really been touched. I saved up credits for a Class B and got a Stroud-Eckland Venture. A hefty sum just shy of 240,000. Have already dropped another 80,000 or so credits retrofitting it.
@@kobrraful You probably wouldn't want to use them for more 'serious' habs to do with crafting/combat themed habs. But for crew quarters they really are cozy. The only hab Ive been unhappy with was Taiyo.
@@PraxisAbraxis ahhh, I also don't much care for Taiyo lol. I turned the Star Eagle into a class C monster, and using the Stroud habs for it. swapped out the Brig for a mess hall, have a workshop, control center and one of those 3x1 everything habs. I did also discover you can control ladder points with companionways
Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor is such an awesome game . The combat is so badass and fluid like in the Batman Arkham games. Killing and slaying Orcs and Orc Captains is satisfying. The biggest highlight is the Nemesis system and it is so cool.
Ghurarmu Shirkush' Agh Azgushu, Zant Ya Apakurizak, Gul-n Anakhizak. (A Sacrifice Of Blood And Bone) (A Bridge For You To Follow) (You Will Emerge A Shadow).
