How well does it do against dog, and cat messes because I'm cautious about going over dog poop when my dog accidentally poops in the house when she should be taken outside?
My Range Rover is only playing from the passenger side speaker any tips to fix it ? Will not change to the left at all tried on the car and with mono audio and the little audio changer on the phone just goes quiet
Does the hose/small head, which I presume for stairs and rugs/small space, also have the option to dry? Or is it just the main unit. I've seen one £190 but I have 4 flights of stairs + 3 landings that's carpeted with 3 teenage lads and two dogs up n down. I'd like to clean more than once a year. Every spring a pro cleaning company does it and not impressed with dry time. Plus also use it for the car 😊 1 year on is it still cleaning to satisfaction?
Hi there - No the hose attachment doesn't have a warm/dry mode like the main unit, just the usual suction. I literally just used it this weekend before we had guest round for a BBQ and still going strong! You can set it in 'dry only' mode and the drying time is less than 1 hour.
How is your Range Rover holding up a year later? I am hoping to get an L322 sooner or later. They are cool cars. I’ll be looking at the 2007-2009 models, as in the US we don’t have the diesel engine for the 2010-2013 L322. Just the AJ-V8 with timing chain issues. The AJ-V8 is great when Jaguar did it right lol. It’s funny to see people in the UK talking about how large these are as well, they don’t seem large to me but then I remember I’m used to seeing giant trucks all over the place here in the US lol.
I've been away from the channel for a year or so (I had my second child and work got crazy busy) - i have to admit, 2 months ago the RR left my possession after a turbo failure.....! I sold to a friend who is currently in the process of repairing!
Looks like I found a bargain then. Bought used from Facebook Marketplace for £75. Used twice. Even has 1 original detergent bottle with it (which I know wont be enough - I also bought some extra's on Amazon). Going to blitz the house this weekend. Thanks for the instructional upload.
ANY car over 100k miles will have 'issues' . People love driving their Range Rovers so put a lot of miles on them. That said RR's should carry a scanner like other cars carry a spare wheel.
I adored my RR but i did have to recently sell it on..... I had the dreaded turbo failure and reached the end of my mechanical/DIY capabilities with that one. Have sold to a friend who is having 2 recon turbo's fitted for around 1800 quid. I would still buy another one in a heartbeat!
Would you be able to let me know how much solution is used please? E.g. if the solution tank is filled, how many clean water tanks full will that do? Many thanks.
Hi You could work on your editing as you keep jumping from one narrative and there are pauses .Its a little bit disjointed but on the plus side good knowing all about your car. 👍
Sure - I've actually been off YT for nearly 2 years and this was my very first upload, recorded in a rush during my lunchbreak! thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for the review. It tea helped me understand how to use it. I just bought one. I wasn’t too sure which one to buy. But it does look a bit similar like.
Change the gearbox oil , I didn’t on mine and it lasted 86k miles, 1 new box later I changed the oil each year and that box lasted 140k miles, I’m on my 3rd gearbox now. Car has done 235k miles all done by me . I bought the car new in 2002 and still drive it every day and drive it through France and down into Spain every year for the last 15 years. Great car that I look after and it looks after me , I will never sell it , it’s worth nothing but everything to me . 21 years of ownership 👏👏👏👏
Great review, I don't agree with traveling low miles but hey! each to his own. I am 59 years old and owned may cars in my lifetime. I own my 4th Range Rover, it is a 2011 4.4 L322 se vogue. In my opinion there is no better car in the world! I wouldn't think twice about touring the world in this car. I do wish I had kept my 1998 p38 2.5 ltr diesel. Still miss it.....
Greggy, thanks very much for this excellent review, much appreciated. Regarding the warranty, how many times have you had a 1 year warranty and a week outside of it, something goes wrong. I had that with my Dyson V15 vacuum cleaner 10 days outside of warranty, BUT after asking customer service to send an engineer which I was happy to pay for, Incredibly DPD arrived the next day, picked it up and gave me another brand new one at the same time, even without checking it out first. So 6 years is an incredible warranty. My Vax Platinum Smartwash arrived yesterday and I won't use it until next week as I've only just vacuumed 2 days ago, but with my Dyson V15 vacuuming prior to using the Vax Platinum Smartwash, I already believe the combination is going to give me outstanding results. Many thanks and much appreciated. Just scratching my head on the pet tool, I assume if our not so great vacuum cleaner doesn't pick pet hair up so well, we use this instead?
Thanks for this review. Is worth to mention if you got the level sensor and the front left airbag of a scrap yard seller or you bought them as new. Also what sort of money did the mechanic charged you for the job. Thank you
Sadly having a nightmare with this machine…kept thinking it was a faulty batch and tried THREE same models, two from John Lewis and one from online JL. Problem is the machine is NOT SUCKING UP THE DIRTY WATER. The hand held attachment does suck up!! Had limited success by sealing the ‘floppy’ flap (where you connect the hand held hose) With gaffa tape!!! Not ideal and still not working all the time. John Lewis interestingly said they had one returned just before mine with the same problem. After two emails to Vax, a rather patronising reply saying I should look at the u tube video re assembly and take it back to store (Again)! Also commenting the dryer only works when the handle is downward (as if I didn’t know that!!) After unpacking this machine THREE TIMES , spending 1/2 hour troubleshooting with Natalie at Vax, who ended by suggesting I should take it back to JL. John Lewis tend to say the problem is with Vax as they have no way of testing the fault!! SO STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND ! Watch this space.
Lee from car Uk you tube channel’s wife Bought one of these and Lee said it’s always in garage having work done on it 🙄 and it’s nothing but a pain. Lee owns a garage, so I guess it’s just the parts he pays for while his guys work on it in-between paying jobs. If a garage owner says it’s a pain , Are they really worth the hassle 🤔 Dated and ,Chavey, even new. Bought by the Wannabes Just not worth the money or the hassle .
The only MOT failure i had on this car was that they didn't like the spacing on my private plate! Mechanically was great - did get a few advisories on bushes which i replaced myself fairly cheaply
Great review I'm looking at a vouge that's done 116000 miles three owners and full service history 2010 in grey I learnt so much from your review I'm currently driving a jag xk 2006 54000 miles
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video, just switched from an Android device to an iphone and couldn't figure out why my music wasn't playing and this sorted hack it, thank you!
Because you can control the audio hands free from the steering wheel, and the track information appears on the standard head unit. If this isn't important for you then yea, go with the aux cable - Also this wasn't an advert or promotion for the Bovee1000 - just a 'how to' guide on connecting your phone if you have one.
@greggyctv3809 Ive just recieved my Bovee 1000, tried it quickly at lunchtime and it worked first time. I already had some old itunes stuff on my phone so didnt notice I needed a hack etc. displays track name and you can skip tracks etc with the wheel controls. Its a shame you cant navigate through your playlists and save albums on spotify but is will encourage me to make new long playlists to start in the car before heading off. Yes people say its expensive but its a small price to pay oin top of the car!. By the way its not a LR but the same stuff you show works in my 911 997.1. Happy Christmas!
its amazing, best ive ever bought...had it for two years now, if youve pets, kids or just like to keep things clean it really is so quick and easy and gets the carpets looking fantastic.
Does anyone know if you have to forget the connection to the Land Rover first? Assume you can’t be connected to the car and adapter at the same time? I’m on a LR Disco 4 (2010)
