in my opinion, this was his tightest and most emotive songwriting. the collection of tunes he had written around this time contains nothing but amazing songs, and tell the truth of how hard he was struggling with relationships, and life. the man knew no other way to live his life, but he left behind a story told in so many songs, that unfortunately will probably never be released due to the greed of his former managers, and poor deals that he signed.
the era from 1995-2000 of Warrant will always be close to my heart. i discovered warrant in 1993 and loved Dog Eat Dog. for two years i waited and was rewarded with ultraphobic. but to no fault of my own, warrant never was going to play portland oregon back then. i didn't get to see them until the summer of 2001 when they played in New York with Poison. they blew me away. i got to meet jani at that show, and when i told him that the song "face" was amazing, he thanked me with a genuine look, and took the time to chat with me. i was 21 at the time, and it meant the world to me to be chatting with my favorite musician.
very cool...must have been early in the tour that they played undertow, high, and others. its a shame that the current lineup never plays any of this. I get that steven and joey aren't on them, but a lot of fans saw warrant from 1995-2006, and bought those albums. wouldn't hurt to throw a song around here and there.
Does anyone kno if this show was at fern park station orlando florida ? Looks like it and I went to see bands at this place when I turned 16 (of course I looked older and had a fake military ID lol
Please ignore all the comments I really am an over the top fan and have no shut off button when it comes to Jani. I'm also a huge Ozzy fan with his name on my wrist. Could never tolerate anyone singing his music until Jani. I'm living my best life.
I am forever grateful for footage of this show but what I wouldn't give to see it fully remastered. There I very little quality footage of of Jani. I know it's out there just wish whoever he it would share it.
Jani shredded Craw......l Space!!! Never mind he tore the place apart all nite. Hope anyone that got to see this show knows they were seeing Jani giving everything he had.
I loved seeing Jerry on stage he always knew where he should be he was clear on all his marks. The one thing you could count on was the original lineup followed their frontman and were well rehearsed.
You know people want to blame powers that be like MTV, radio stations and record promoters as well as agents forvWarrants down fall but the people that sunk them, Jani in particular werecthe same ones that shot them to the top, disloyal and sleazy fans who chose gloomy grunge instead party till you drop Rock and Roll. Jani continued to put outvamazing tunes and Warrants shows never dissapointed but fans stopped buying concert tickets and tunes. Lets put the blame where it belongs.
Dude I have watched way worse footage than this. The point is he sounds awesome and any opportunity to hear him sing live in the latter years for a real fan is everything. Honestly thanks so much for posting these videos there all going right in to my library.
I have been hunting for any live footage of live Ultraphonic. I am so thrilled to find this I consider the footage top quality HD :-) Thanks my friend. I'm assuming you were there.
Long time ago. Bowman Grey went to throwing cautions before cars reach the turn or straighaway the accident is on. Everybody has time to slow down now and no motivation to speed back to the start line.
probably not the best idea for an official to hug and carry one of the drivers out of her car in front of all the fans and cameras. anyone say conflict of interest
Police officers at sporting events trying to enforce the law against the athletes are so f***ing stupid. Get them the hell out of there. Enforce the law to keep the spectators safe, you're not a god damn referee out there! Hands off the drivers!
I love how Jani wore his heart on his sleeve. I think this is why his real Fans became so close even without really knowing him. He was so transparent in his lyrics. Only wish he had been able to share the things that were really tearing him apart. Miss him terribly but there is a comfort in knowing he is at peace.
Bowman needs ban these hot head I can't call them drivers for life they bring nothing good to the sport in racing not all contact is intentional retaliation shows you have less control of yourself than you do your race car
