Hey so I plan to play this for my dad (it’s his favorite song) for him and I am going to have my stepmom sing it! But do you mind posting a tutorial on how to play this?
Hi, I have the sheet music posted on my channel as well. I won’t be able to make a tutorial with my current lesson schedule/new arrangements I’m working on. I will say just follow the intro on the sheet music. You just need to play the melody in your right hand and have your left hand just play chords. When your stepmom starts singing the verse, flip your right hand to chords and your left hand to the bass note and that should sound great. Add a quarter note rhythm and experiment with what sounds good
Hit the octaves and jump up. With the pedal down it’ll sustain the low end while you see-saw the chords in the higher octave. Sounds nice, big and full.
I agree. I usually put all my lh bass notes in octaves but probably too heavy for this. I also messed up two chords naming and harmony wise. So I’ll probably reupload it. One of the bad thing about arranging on the computer vs the piano!
@@hooman9554 yeah, I ended up getting a chance to play it and it sounded fine with octaves. the musescore playback has the octaves overpowering but I didn't think it took up as much space when I played it on a piano
Oof, this would be pretty hard for a beginner. I have the sheet music posted on here/musescore. I plan to make an easy version for some of my students soon. It’ll be posted on here at some point
