Thanks man for the video! I’m about to get a mk5 golf r32, I’d like to know where you got your exhaust system from too, I’m considering a valved exhaust
@@twentydilf Thanks man! I heard on your latest video you had to get yours taken out coz cops said something? would you still recommend to get the zadtec in light of ur experience with the cops?
I own a mk 7.5 R that been tune but after testing driving on the weekend a mk 5 r32. These cars are just a whole different level that VW really put their heart out. I have put a deposit and i agree with what you said about vw r32. I live in Melbourne if you are back love to see your and I got a 3dr blue one as a weekender
Great video. I am in the market for a 2014 R8 v10. I’m just scared to pull the trigger due to two things, maintenance on AC compressor and magride going out.

100% man! completely understand your fears. id highly recommended going for a cheaper, but still well maintained R8 within your budget. that way, you can set some cash aside for those 2 inevitable issues. Id replaced the magride with some Bilstein coilovers should it go out however. then code out the adaptive suspension settings using VCDS
Great video! Would suggest for these heavily modded vehicles to have an on-screen display of the mod list - much easier to read that then off of a phone. :)
If you can see the window glass in the door, then you can probably just cut a cheap bit of wood to the right length and just prop it up in the closed position as a temporary solution.
Just make sure the clutch isn't slipping. The dual mass flywheels are expensive to replace. I converted mine to single mass. Not as good but still very drivable.
Good luck. It is not easy to find a well preserved car. I have a first generation Skoda Fabia with the same engine and I was looking for it for about half a year before I bought it (here in CZ this car is still very demanded but supply is lower and lower). You are 100% right that acceleration is good even nowadays. In 3rd gear, the car can outrun even much more modern cars (mainly SUVs with small engines). But I recommend filling up with diesel with a higher cetane number because of the injectors.
I’ve been warned to say away from these cars because they are frankly pieces of shit, unreliable and very hard to work on which means maintenance costs are extra high.
