Catawba Falls has been closed for 2 years for improvements and it is now open! Here's all the info you need to know about what has changed northcarolinatraveler.com/catawba-falls-to-reopen/
I haven't been to Sky Ranch yet, so I can't really give an opinion on the view, but I'll put it on my sights for future travel and I have no doubt it's probably a better bang for the buck! Thanks for watching and especially thanks for sharing your insights. I appreciate you! :)
I just came back from the reopening of the trail and made sure to check out the RV situation for you. The Roads are great for RV's and the parking lot is small, but they do have a section dedicated to RV's, campers and buses. However, if the parking lot gets crowded, cars will start to park in the RV sections, so you will want to arrive early to make sure you can get a spot.
Very informative video. The feedback would be to try to hold the camera a bit more steady as it was shaking a little bit. That might happen when the camera operator is not looking at the screen. Great video. Job well done.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. Since this video I have purchased a stabilizing gimbal as well as a better camera with better stabilization. I have to move quick with many of these property tours so my more recent videos are better quality with the equipment updates. Thnx for watching 😃
I'm glad you found it helpful :) They do have a chocolate meditation that's really nice and doesn't involve alcohol. It's more of a mindfulness activity by tasting and savoring different chocolates. I highly recommend!
Now this place looks epic. The room is spacious, cozy and I would be using that bath tub every night!! I like the work desk too. How comfy was the bed? Way to treat yourself!
Wow, this room looks very nice. So cozy, with snacks and appetizers and wine when you arrive. The place has a lot to offer, the room itself looks like a small home rather than a hotel room. A nice desk for working which is always a plus for me as a travelling digital nomad. The room looks great.
What a magical place! You could feel like a movie star or a duchess in a room like this. It's the perfect spot to celebrate your birthday. Happy birthday!
This looks like a really nice room with a lot of amenities. The wine and the little snacks looked delicious! I bet you had a great night staying there! 😁
Happy birthday! I hope you had a great time at the Biltmore and enjoyed your birthday. The room looks great and the bathroom is perfect. Have a nice day
First off, happy birthday! I hope you enjoyed your time at the Biltmore for your birthday. Definitely a great choice! I love that they sourced bathroom products from a local company. And nice that the writing desk has enough room for two people to sit. Lastly, your robe was fabulous! Looks so comfy!
Absolutely loved this room tour at The Inn at Biltmore Estate! The attention to detail in the decor and amenities really shines through in your video. It's great to see such a beautiful place through your lens. Thanks for sharing this experience with us! Can't wait to see where you'll take us next. Keep up the fantastic work
Happy Birthday! Thanks for sharing your special day with us and the Inn is beautiful! Next time hubby and I visit Asheville this will be our place of stay! Also, I’ve seen your other hotel reviews and booked one last November 2023🙂🌻
Thank you so much! :) and thank you for letting me know that my reviews were useful. You made my day! :) Which hotel did you book in November? (if you don't mind me asking). How did you end up liking it? I always love to hear the experiences of others.
@@christyevershappily4eversafter I don’t mind at all! We booked the Hilton Garden Inn located in downtown Asheville! Our overall stay was lovely and convenient. Next time we’re thinking of the Cambria Hotel, I believe it’s called, that you also did a review on! 🙂… I study your videos when planning an NC trip, very informative. Thank you for your help. Also, I’ll comment more instead of just watching! 😉😂🌻♥️
Love the little bag for the toilet tissue. Lol! I love the robes and the bath. I’d never leave that room! Looks so posh yet cozy. Happy b-day btw. Now that’s the way to celebrate!!! 🎉 🎊
That's a great question. My answer, however, depends on a few different factors such as time of day, what you'll be doing around your meal time, how much time you have on the estate and what your preferences are. If I had to pick which restaurant is my favorite between the two, I would pick the Stable Cafe. Every meal I've had there has been spectacular with amazing service. That being said, here are other things I would take into consideration when choosing a dining spot. 1) Time of day. The Stable Cafe has more limited hours and may not be open. You'll want to check their hours for the day that you plan to go. It's rarely open for the evening meal except for during the Christmas season since the House and Grounds are open to guests for extended hours. Cedrics is almost always open. I can't remember a time that I've been to Biltmore when Cedrics wasn't open during dining hours. Of course all restaurants are subject to close, so you should always check, but it does tend to be open more often. 2) Your preferences. Stable Cafe is more Mountain-style comfort foods, while Cedrics is more English Pub-style foods. 3) What will you be doing around your mealtime? If you have a house tour right before or right after you want to eat, the Stable Cafe is a better choice. If you will be enjoying your time at Antler Hill Village at mealtime, then Cedrics is a better choice. 3) Atmosphere: If it's a beautiful day and you enjoy eating on an outdoor patio, Cedrics has that option where the Stable Cafe only has indoor seating. The inside of the Stable Cafe has an open and bright atmosphere with a country/stable theme where Cedrics has dim lighting and an English pub feel. I hope that helps with your decision. I'd love to know what you pick and how you enjoy it! :)
I'm visiting Asheville/Biltmore this January. What advice do you have for us about visit this month of the year? We're most concerned about how cold it will be outsideand the amount (?) of walking reqired.
@@christyevershappily4eversafter Yeah she passed away almost twenty years ago but she told me that story a few years before she passed. I thought she was pulling my leg but then she went into detail about the two or three footman on the estate that taught her how to drive. Her family was friends with the Vanderbilts. Crazy stuff!
Great tips. I'm about to do my first ever visit. I only have about 5-6 hours this coming Sunday. I literally fly in from Miami, FL and land in Asheville at 8:30 am. Hoping to hop in my rental and arrive by 9:30. My house tour isn't until 12:30, so I think I'll be ok and have time before and after to see some of the grounds.
I'm glad you found the tips helpful :) I think you planned your time wisely. 5-6 hours is the bare minimum that I think you can enjoy both the house, grounds and Antler hill village. I suggest using the first part of your time before the tour to enjoy the garden, shops and maybe even some of the restaurants at the house. Then when you're done there, spend the rest of the time enjoying Antler Hill Village. Be sure to check out their animal farm at Antler Hill Village, they have some new baby goats. So cute!
Bwhahaha like a virus respects social distancing. Lol hope we have learned something about distancing, masks and jabs in the Past three years. Washing your hands is important though.
Hi, there. We are traveling through on your area 10/21,22,23 (2023). We love ecstatic dance and drumming....are these still occurring on Tues.? or....other days? Thanks!
This place looks amazing. I love the pool area. The nearby landscapes look amazing. I can see why it's called Enchantment Resort. The junior suite looks so cool. I would definitely be happy staying there.
