My goodness, cannot people figure out how to line or reinforce the tongue. You can actually adhere wool just like the jack boot or simply get the silicone adhesive that the hockey players use for lace bite. Not rocket science.
you know, i ordered size 6 jack one (I am size 7.5). They do not fit at all. My toes hit the front. No way they will give out. I can't return them because the were custom. If size 7 are 8 to 8.5 why size 6 would not fit me. This is so overwhelming. I have OG 172 size 6, they are perfect and i even put in soles. I just don't get these sizes.
I don’t think I’ve seen a skate review that I cringed at less. Background sound was so distracting and poor word usage was hard to navigate. You seem like a lovely person but I can’t take anything you say seriously because of your poor vocabulary use.
You are wonderful. Thanks so much for creating the content that you do. I really loved the color coordination on your Moxi clementine skates!! They are so cool.
I bought Moxi rainbow riders. They are awesome at a great price point, but I already want to invest in Moxi Lollys. I was going to go for the beach bunnies but I decided to save and invest in a long lasting pair.
I find moxi fundaes to stick more to the surface, make it not so smooth on smooth indoor surfaces. It works well on smooth concrete though, it glides well, just that you can feel the ground more since it's 92a. :) I'm ordering my radar 57mm, 78a hoping that it won't stick on smooth indoor surfaces as much as fundaes.
I’m excited to see how the color holds up with the newer edition. I’ve owned two Moxi Lollys in strawberry and floss and the color really fades a lot within a year(but they were the older edition). I mostly trail skate and I just got a pair of the clementines so I can’t wait!
I love your setup soo cool! I have Lollys now and want jack boots. I love taking my 8 year old daughter with me skating… my Lollys are so comfy and I can keep up but I keep dreaming of jack boots 🤩🥰I love you videos! Please do a comparison👍
Thank you so much! 😊 I dreamed about the Jack boots for so long and I'm glad I finally took the plunge! I hope you are able to get your hands on a pair soon! My next video will probably be the Lolly/Jack comparison so keep an eye out! 👀
Hey, I'm a beginner/intermediate skater, I've just brought some Moxi Fundae wheels and wondered how well they are at the rink(i know i should have asked that first but brought them because they got me excited). Should i wait until i advance a little before putting them on my skates, and will they be suitable? Thanks
I have not personally tried them out at the rink yet, but they are a great size and hardness for the rink! I would say go for it! You can always bring a pair of wheels you are comfortable with, and if you try out the Fundae's and don't like them, you can put your comfort wheels back on! But I really enjoy how the wheels are curved on both edges, it makes some jam skating moves a lot more fluid which is great at the rink! Let me know how you like them :)
@@heyalisia714 Thanks for the advice! Although I've decided that I'm going stick with the ones that I'm using at the moment and then when I'm ready to level up I'm gonna put them on(as i have just brought some new bearings too), it will give me something to look forward to 😉. I like your passion, thanks for your help!
Hi I have a question please ... is it necessary to buy bearings? can't we just use the same bearings the skates come with and clean them when they get dirty?
Hi there! You can definitely clean and reuse the bearings that come with your skates, but once they get to a point where cleaning them still doesn't remove all the grime or you are starting to feel like they are slowing down its time to replace. As you advance in skating, you may want to replace your bearings for reasons such as reliability, speed and precision. :)
Wonder if you're going to spend $199 for white Avanti magnesium plate there isn't a weight difference from nylon plate but add it to jack boot and the skate park won't pose any troubles for the structural integrity of your nu jacked up jack boot
Hi there! These are the updated orange color that a lot of people compare to cheetoh's haha! I personally love the vibrant orange, but if you are hoping they will fade, I've been skating mine for a year now and they are still pretty vibrant orange. Hope this helps!
@@Pouchy17 I’ve seen a few people who are looking for a darker orange or brown get the clementines and then use suede dye to achieve the color they want! You also might be able to find some used clementines from before they switched the color. Good luck!
I loved your video! I just ordered the clems. Do you regret the color? I keep going back and forth between the green color - although now its too late, lol.
Thank you! I don’t regret the color one bit!! I totally understand the going back and forth between the green- that is my next wishlist color lol but I am definitely glad I got the Clems first because they are so beautiful and I love that I can match it up with teal accessories :) Enjoy your new skates!
Thank you for making this, as I watch I just ordered Moxi clementine, and I already have the MLR in the grey, Soooo do you have a favorite out of the two? :-) My clementines should be here in a week.
My favorites are definitely the Moxi’s. I love the color, and the fit is just perfect. I am more agile in the Moxi’s than MLR and my feet will still hurt after riding in the MLR, but not the Moxi :)
Thank you! I purchased them through XoNeloXoNaija on Etsy, and her instagram handle is @shop.xo.nelo.xo.naija :) I would definitely recommend them, I have been skating with them almost every day for 10 moths, and they have held up amazingly. Very high quality and you are supporting a small business!
Hey there! You can definitely use the stock wheels outside, but they are harder than most outdoor wheels, so if you are a beginner I would suggest picking up some Radar Energy wheels, they are great for outdoor use!
If you left your toe guard free from the washer there wouldn’t be any stress on it or twisting. So washer seated first, nut second, then toe guard and screw in toe stop last. You have to work a little under the toe guard to tighten. I used to do it your way until a pro told me I was doing it wrong. It causes stress on the toe guard, plus eventually if the toe guard threads into the hole the treads can be ruined and the plate has to be replaced. The method I was taught makes so much sense once you do it. I love the orange and teal they look soooo sharp. Thank you for your videos!!!!
Great review! I have a question. Are your heartstoppers short or long stem? I'm new to quad skates and don't know what to upgrade these to when I buy them. Thanks 😊
Hey there, thank you so much! I use the short stem toe stoppers. It is personal preference, but the short stem toe stops will allow you to do more jam moves without them getting in the way.
