You know you body camera. Manufacturers really wantna do a civilian's a solid. How about you start making these cameras where they cannot be turned off by corrupt cops and where they cannot be muted by corrupt cops.
Police Vehicles also need 360° cameras mounted on top of police vehicles. This would be both security for police and for civilians. We can't see what is happening in regards to police abuse. We need police vehicles to have 360° camera's mounted on top of police vehicles. Also, begin manufacturing police body cams with no ON/OFF switch. They are charged on their base pads, and when the cameras are set on their charging pads, they automatically begin uploading all video footage to an AXON CLOUD SERVICE. This way police are unable to tamper(edit*) any/all footage. Also this CLOUD service would automatically SHARE any/all video data with civilian oversight committees from state to state. USA requires for the police to be held accountable & AXON ought to stand on the front line OF Police Accountability.
Thank you to Axon and law enforcement for keeping communities safe. However, it should be noted that this particular instance is rare whereas Tasers give full muscle lock-up on the first deployment. The officer had lethal cover in the event that detainees charge or deployment of less lethal fail. Other factors that contributed to this successful Taser activation include but not limited to light garments on suspect, close proximity, and sufficient time to draw a less lethal device.
