Welcome to your one-stop guide to higher education in the US. I am a current MS Computer Science student at Columbia University, New York and through this channel, I aim to help individuals crack their dream admits by interviewing current/former students of specific programs and getting their insights on what it takes to make it to these schools.
I got a question, here she says tuition was $110-120k. But on their website it says around $88k. Am I interpreting it incorrectly? Also she mentions she extended it to 4 semesters, which I didn't see as an option.
She was mentioning the total cost of attendance including the insurance and all the other fees the university charges which goes up to about $15K-$20K. She got it extended as a special case but is generally not given out to international students
@@MastersWithHarshith Ahh thanks for clarifying that up! And a followup, did the extension of a semester in any way increase her tuition too? Or is it $120k even for students who take up the avg of 3 semesters?
Hey Harshit, I wanna do MIS in coming spring 2025. I don't have any relevant work experience. Will i face issues as a fresher for MIS. Currently I have graduated and I am doing course on Data analyst and Generative AI. Please reply
Do the universities have any specification regarding how old can the LORs be? I've heard that it should not be older than 6 months from the date of application. Is it true?
Bhai ku accent maar rhe ho dono 😂Both are born and raised in India and hardly been 4-5 years in west. So much bowing down to the white man isn't good imo.
Extremely detailed, well planned and genuine. Thanks Harshith for spending time and efforts on this. Questions are well thought of, and elaborately answered.
@@MastersWithHarshith I'd recommend using more appealing thumbnails similar to the ones used for the podcast with Shreya. This could potentially increase views and reach a wider audience.

Very informative video Harshith! Could you add more questions regarding salary after MS? Like What is the expected avg salary after MS in management technology from Colombia University?
Sir, actually your videos too long ,it was hard to wait more, Than aspiring student looks candidate profile and test scores, and fees structure. But your video these details are not focus much. So it was difficulties to get more up vote or view Sorry for my comments.
Hey, the goal of the episodes is to be holistic and not just specific details. For those who do not have the time, we've added timestamps in the description which you can use to navigate to what you need
Thanks for pointing it out, we just found out that the number we wanted to use was the number of admitted students which is about 400 and the number of students in the batch is 180. Apologies, we're adding it in the description as a correction as well!
