Hello @TheKiwiCoder Im having an issue at destroying the bullet once i shoot it for some reason it is not working and in the hierarchy shows me that the bullets i shot are settled at the hit position, tried to follow along the process aagain but failled to, please provide me some guidance, Also when i fire there are two instances of the tracers, best regards, Lonewolf.

I'm having a problem that I can't seem to find a solution to. The weapon is equipping just fine, and the handIK is all correct, however, when the player equips the weapon after running over the sphere, bullets are not spawning when shooting. I still get the muzzle flash, but bullets aren't spawning and its not shooting. Even when i equip the prefab to the player, it now wont shoot bullets. :S Not sure what is going on, i can't for the life of me figure out why it wont shoot. The scripts are all still there. **EDIT** I think I found the reason why. I accidently changed the function name in the ActiveWeapon script, instead of calling the UpdateBullets function, I changed it to UpdateFiring like TheKiwiCoder has in his script, but, this wasn't what mine was called, so i changed it back to UpdateBullets, and it is shooting again. although its only single fire, so i need to fix that too. **UPDATE EDIT** Turns out this was incorrect, it was meant to be UpdateFiring, so now im really confused and not sure why its not working. Need to go back and have a look at all the previous scripts! **FINAL EDIT** Turns out I accidently deleted the UpdateBullets function call when transferring the if statement over from the RaycastWeapon into the new script...

If anyone is having trouble with the particle's on the MetalImpacts, if it is showing a white square, you need to go into the HitEffect, then into the Dust, under the Dust Inspector, scroll down to the DustPuffParticle (Material) and change it from "Universal Render Pipeline/Particles/Lit" to "Universal Render Pipeline/Particles/Unlit". If you do the same with the decal, it will help it as well. The Sparks should already be unlit.

我是2022.3.34版本。在Edit里甚至没有Render Pipline。按照Unity文档里的方法先在Assets里创建了新的 URP Asset并导入进了Project Sectting里的Graphics里的Scriotable Render Pipeline Ssttings。奇怪的是WeaponEffect正常了,但是我之前的所有场景都粉了,这我找不到解决办法。最后我只是单纯的把WeaponEffect的渲染方式改成了Particles/Stacndard Surface,以解燃眉之急。各位有什么好办法吗?"I'm using version 2022.3.34. In the Edit menu, there's not even a Render Pipeline option. According to the Unity documentation, I first created a new URP Asset in the Assets folder and assigned it to the Scriptable Render Pipeline Settings in the Graphics section of Project Settings. Strangely, the WeaponEffect works fine, but all my previous scenes turned pink, and I can't find a solution for that. In the end, I just temporarily changed the WeaponEffect's shader to Particles/Standard Surface to resolve the immediate issue. Does anyone have a better solution?"

This method seems to work fine, but it will produce completely different results when the animation pose changes, because the arm is not moving.

Ok dude. I followed the watched the two previous videos and I understood bout 0.01% of what was going on. But I sort of get it. I've downloaded the package (thanks very much for that). Are there any tutorial videos hidden or planned that I can use to help set up my first tree or am I going to have to hack my way through and create a monstrosity by myself? I know I need a tree for my project. Ah, f*** it. I'll just get going.

This is a great package, but I have one question. How can I change the data of the same tree for different agents? For example, if I have a tree that moves an agent to a point, how can I attach this tree to different agents and set different positions to follow, without having multiple copies of the tree (ScriptableObject) for each position?

Hey, you could create a scriptable object to store the waypoints, then assign that to the blackboard as an override on that agent. Then write a custom node to set the location from the blackboard key

Hi @TheKiwiCoder, this is a great tutorial - I'm wondering though is this before or after you did the whole series on the Unity Animation Rigging package? I'm curious which approach you prefer and recommend - and why? Have you considered making the project files for this but also the Animation Rigging series available? Even if maybe you had to omit some assets or so...

This was after: it’s simpler to setup, but less flexible than the full anim rigging package. I’d like to try and implement this setup as a custom rig constraint at some point, for a 3rd comparison :)

Hello, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. When I play the character to move in any of the "left" directions the animations play fine and the character will start moving into that direction however it will rapidly snap back into the right direction and will keep doing this. any ideas?

47:29 If anyone has problem deleting the nodes using the delete button 1. Open your "Assets/Editor/BehaviorTreeEditor.uxml" file => Left Panel Hierarchy Section => Split View => right panel => BehaviorTreeView 2. Click on "BehaviorTreeView" 3. On the right panel, click "Focusable" 4. Save and exit that box 5. Close and reopen the "BehaviorTreeEdit => Editor" 6. The "BehaviorTree" file (the one that you need to click before creating the nodes) may still have left over garbage from the previous run... so I recommend you delete that asset and recreate it, since there is no way to delete it as far as I am aware. Sorry to bother you, I've written scripts based on your lessons here. When a shot is fired, for some reason 2 rounds are spent per shot. Why can this be?

Does anyone have an example of a more complicated tree? I am trying to identify if something like this is possible: Move randomly until X happens... defining that X, should it be an action? should it run in parallel. How do you tell it to stop moving randomly. hmmm

I was following these tutorial videos like a year ago, but lost all the files due to hard drive wipe, now I'm redoing everything and there is an issue where gun rotates around the pivot point when aiming up and down couple of times, don't know how to fix this.

Nice. But, how can the code place an enemy inside the maze. I think this maze is more for decorating and will not add interesting features to a game. How can we add a coliider for the walls? This is just considered 1 game object. No way to determine using code if a player is on a path or colliding with a wall

Great videos, I am struggling to find a way to create a visual hierarchy tree in game. My aim is to scan a building, then after the scan a hierarchy tree will form under that object showing each building location and branching off each of those locations. Any pointers as to where I can get the help to figure this out would help me no end. Similar in visuals to your behaviour tree. Thank you in advance!

Sounds interesting! Maybe see if there’s any shader examples that can render an octree or similar on shader toy. Or, try using a treeview from uielements if it should be interactable.

I saw these videos back in the day now i was working on a Shooting game ran into the same issue about crosshair. I was thinking about the solution. Then i remembered there was a Legend "TheKiwiCoder" who posted the solution about same issue
