Watching games like this makes De La Salle’s win over Long Beach Poly in 2001 all the more impressive: Poly back then had the speed and size of a mini SEC team.
If I remember right, Brian broke the single game state rushing yards in this game? I was on this Mililani team that year. We had high hopes, but injuries plagued us and lost crucial games that year.
Waianae was unstoppable throughout the regular season, but man this was a totally different team. I remember the brawl in the 4th quarter, I actually thought Waianae started that brawl.
