It’s still sitting the motor is still being built will be a long process money wise but honestly once it’s done it’ll be boosted so the only NA time it’ll have is when its on break in tune but it should be done next year man
@@strictlyvicious that's awesome, I bought a 350 early this year and you and another channel called zorbii are what helped influence and be sort of a guide to my build. Keep up the good work.
U kinda right bc this video is outdated, my car made 303whp not with those mods but something else shown on other videos but honestly u right still waste of money just go nitrous hands down bang for buck and call it a day or be safer make it progressively and maybe do oil pump, arp rod bolts and rod bearings and u can make 500hp on nitrous if the torque is kept lower
350z and 370z y pipe are the same. Also the guys that made the adapter to run the ls intake. Made 280 on a stock de with 100% oem exhaust cats and all. Look up Sasha anis if you wanna know how to make 417 whp na. And that's 15 year old info at this point. And it's 2in primary long tube 3in y pipe and 4in single exhaust my z is getting this treatment right now. Also im doing a big cam vq ser spec v right now sub 2400lb car. But piston rod motor. Stock piston biggest cams you can use with that intake on fwd makes 400whp on e85. Big cam setup on spicy fuel is has made 550 on those setups. Look up Sasha anis and nisformance. Also look up nwp for lower gaskets they are thermal but also 5mm spacers so you get longer lower runners to make more torque.
ISR 350z and 370z y pipe aren’t the same bro, 350 is 2.5” 370z is 2.75” but they both merged to 3” and yea I’m gonna try to see what stock block can do with a good head and cam but yea I’ve researched both of those guys. They’re the best man, and yes bro ur car is light asf.
@strictlyvicious well damn it really is ive seen so many like z1 saying 350 and 370 are the same. 2.5in but did know isr made a new part number cause a few years ago they were all 2.5 sayong 350 370 y pipe. I think it was soho that makes a 3in ypipe. And 4in single for the 370z. I'm doing a x to y single with 4 resonators full size oval center muffler and a cannon with a 12 or 15in long body. Heard a 272 cammed de with a motordyn to single cut up setup which made a x to y or h to y and it sounded like a rb.
@strictlyvicious and on the spec v once the swap is done imma change wheel offsets and see if I can go from 255s to a 275. With out any poke. But it's like a road course setup has some camber in front or put the e30 flares I have and just say fuck it and go for a 285.
hey man i cant wait to see what this car can do with cams and valve springs. Im looking to do this with a g sedan in the future but i gotta get my money up first lol. You a wicked inspiration to the VQ fam! Best of luck on the build!
Thx bro so much that’s pretty much what I’m gonna do now I kinda given up or haven’t been motivated to do much on it so we’ll see what cams and heads would do stock block
I’ll say this: before you start adding all of the typical performance modifications, get some good engine mounts, an upgraded transmission mount, and an upgraded differential bushing. Too many people don’t think about drivetrain loss and we’re not all superior enough as drivers to even be thinking about “more power.”
What mods would you have to get a tune after because i plan on getting the 75mm throttle , plenum spacer , ram intake n a exhaust , because ik u have to get a tune after installing some parts so just wondering if its after any of these parts ?
If u can get a 3.5” front mount cold air intake but it will require a tune, but none of those mods u stated will need a tune but it depends on the size of the intake before a tune will be needed
Hey I hope you see this comment. I want to buy this Holley hi ram kit it says on Merlin’s website 799.00 is this the entire kit? Then when you select a different option it says sold out. I’m a little confused on what you get. Can you help me out sense you bought the kit. There customer service hasn’t been good I’ve asked many questions with very short answers back. Thank you!
Yes I shifted at 7200rpms bc that’s was the limit for my valve springs and the oil pump and on the dyno I was making power past 7200 but when don’t know where it stopped at but I believe it would’ve stopped at 7800 on stock cams
I made 305 with an intake and plenum as engine mods and basic full bolt ons. everything really depends on how well maintained the engine is. I’ve seen heavily modified g’s with hella mods making low 280s
